Finding Tsunade pt 3

Night Time soon fell and Jiraiya and Naruto had seen no sight of Tsunade. Jiraiya saw a bar, "well, in the meantime, let's get something to eat." Naruto had no complaints so he walked in with Jiraiya

Jiraiya wasn't expecting much, but when he walked in he saw her, Tsunade. One of the three legendary sannin! The one he had been looking for was here of all places, what a surprise!

"Tsunade! "Jiraiya! What, why are you here?" they were both shocked to see each other, "Finally I've been looking everywhere for you. Should have known you would be somewhere like this." Jiraiya and Naruto sat down where she was.

Naruto ordered some sardines to eat, they were pretty salty but it was decent. Jiraiya and Tsunade both ordered sake and began drinking up. "It's like a reunion. All these faces coming back at the same time." Jiraiya wasn't too surprised, "You've already met Orochimaru. What happened?"

"Nothing much, we said hello that's about it," Tsunade then grabbed some playing cards and started shuffling them. Jiraiya could tell she was lying, "Is it true what happened to sensei?" Jiraiya nodded, "Yes he is dead, Orochimaru killed him."

Tsunade flinched, it seems he wasn't lying. "Who's going to take his place?" Jiraiya took another sip of his sake, "I am." Tsunade chuckled, "oh how far the village must have fallen to elect someone like you as Hokage. But why are you looking for me?"

"Two reasons, one is Kakashi Hatake he is one of our finest ninja and as of the moment, in serious condition. And two, I want you to come back to the leaf and be my assistant when I officially announce myself as Hokage."

Tsunade denied the offer, "I don't care about that village anymore, if Orochimaru destroyed it tomorrow I wouldn't care." Tsunade saw a kunai coming at her which she caught easily, "If you say something like that again, I don't care if you're the sannin, I'll kill you."

Even if Jiraiya had made Naruto less strict he still did not accept something like that. "Hah, a dumb kid like you can kill me? How funny!" Tsunade laughed, "Want to test it out?" Naruto asked. "Ok brat, let's make a bet, if you can land a hit on me I will give you this necklace. But if I win you have to run through the whole town naked."

Naruto looked at the necklace and knew it was some sort of sealing item, "Deal." Tsunade then stood up, "Then let's go outside." Naruto and Tsunade walked out and Tsunade explained the rules. Basically, they both get one attack and it has to be at the same time if Naruto hits her he wins, if he doesn't he loses.

They both stood in front of each other a good distance away, "Ready, 3,2,1, attack!" Naruto ran at her and was surprised to see her only get in a flicking motion, she was underestimating him. Tsunade flicked Naruto but was surprised to see him dodge.

That surprise was nothing against what she felt when she saw Naruto create not 1, but 2 Rasengans! After dodging Tsunade, Naruto created 2 Rasengans "Rasengan barrage!" The two Rasengan were thrown into Tsunade's body with a shocking force.

The power made even Tsunade move back a few feet. "Jiraiya, what are you thinking teaching him that jutsu at this age!" Jiraiya only smiled proud of himself as a teacher. "Hand it over granny!" Tsunade handed him the necklace and left in a rage, she didn't like losing to kids.

Naruto then headed back to the hotel and Jiraiyawent to look for Tsunade. Naruto was sitting in his room bored until he heard a knock, he went to open it and saw Shizune there. "Sorry for meeting you this late but we must talk. There's something you must know about the necklace, one day lady Tsunade lost everything.

Dreams, hopes, everything. After that, there was nothing for her, except for the necklace and all of its memories. Please understand that necklace is more precious than life for her." Naruto didn't really care, "Look, it wasn't my Idea to bet it, now leave." "But Lady-" before she could finish Naruto closed the door on her and went to sleep.

Jiraiya soon found Tsunade at another, smaller bar, "Here you go sir," said the bartender. "Ah great, just the thing I needed," said Jiraiya as he took a sip. "I have to say, I never imagined you'd still have that necklace after all these years. I just assumed you would have gambled it away, well I was almost right."

"What's on your mind, Tsunade." "About what?" "Orochimaru of course," Jiraiya said, then taking a sip of sake. Tsunade gave no response, "When are you meeting him again? I can see it in Shizune's face, I don't know what sort of deal he made but think carefully before you accept. I wouldn't hesitate to kill you for the sake of the village, I am the Hokage, I have to do what's best for the village."

Jiraiya knew he couldn't kill her but it might play a good bluff. "The village has nothing to do with me anymore." Jiraiya was still serious, "a person who feels nothing at the death of those close to him is no different than a monster. I know you Tsunade, you are not a monster."

Jiraiya and Tsunade then went separate ways. The next morning Jiraiya woke up and saw Naruto was gone, "Must have gone out for training, damn kid." Jiraiya looked out the window at the big beautiful town.

Tsunade was walking around, she couldn't keep the deal Orochimaru made off her mind. She knew Orochimaru knew her better than almost anyone else, he knew she would most likely agree. But could she really go through with this? But could she resist not seeing her brother and lover again? She didn't know.

Jiraiya and Tsunade once again were drinking at the sake shop. "I am assuming your time is running out with Orochimaru." Tsunade nodded, they continued to talk about old times until it got too late and Tsunade had to leave.

It was the next day and Jiraiya still hadn't left the bar, "Time to go home, sir, sir!" after pushing and pushing Jiraiya finally woke up. He felt his body was weaker, "Shit, where is Tsunade!" he planned to keep her on watch until Orochimaru arrived!

Suddenly Jiraiya broke into the room Naruto was in. "She tricked me that double-crossing vixen. She poisoned me when I wasn't looking. I can barely build up any chakra. My body is so weak, I'm not sure If I could throw a kunai! I never thought she would do this, I should have known! I guess I am losing my touch, Naruto we're leaving!" Jiraiya then grabbed Naruto and left to find Tsunade.
