"I know," Sakura muttered, her frustration growing. "But what choice do I have? I can't just sit back and do nothing. I've tried everything else, and Shoi is the only lead I have."
Tsunade sighed, rubbing her temples. "I get it. But there are rules, and the Hyuga clan isn't going to let you experiment on one of their own. You're walking a fine line here, and if you're not careful, you could end up in a world of trouble."
Sakura looked down, her fists clenched at her sides. "I just... I just want Sasuke back. I can't give up on him."
Tsunade walked over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I know. But we need to be smart about this. Maybe there's another way to approach Shoi.
If you can't sense his chakra anymore, maybe it's something he's actively hiding. And if he's connected to the Hyuga patriarch, there's a reason for it."
"I'm not giving up, Tsunade-sama. I'll find out who Shoi really is. But I'll be careful."
Tsunade gave her a small smile. "Good. You're one of the smartest shinobi I know, Sakura. Trust your instincts, but don't let desperation cloud your judgment.
And if you find anything worth pursuing, you come to me. We'll handle this together."
Sakura nodded, grateful for Tsunade's support. "Thank you, Tsunade-sama."
"Just promise me you won't get reckless," Tsunade said, her voice carrying a note of warning. "We've already lost too much. I don't want to lose you too."
Sakura smiled softly. "I promise. I'll be careful."
Tsunade gave a firm nod, then turned to leave. "I'll look into the Hyuga clan's recent activities, see if I can dig up anything on this Shoi. But don't get your hopes up. They guard their secrets well."
Sakura watched as her mentor left, her mind swirling with possibilities.
just as Tsunade left after like 30 minutes there was another knock on the door as she opened on the other side was standing the Kakashi
"Hey Sakura I wanted to talk with you about our new friend in the village shoi"
Sakura blinked in surprise as she opened the door to see Kakashi standing there. His usual laid-back demeanor seemed slightly more serious this time, and the mention of Shoi instantly made her heart race.
"Kakashi-sensei," Sakura greeted, stepping aside to let him in. "You wanted to talk about Shoi?"
Kakashi walked into the room, his hands casually tucked into his pockets. His single visible eye scanned the room briefly before resting on Sakura. "Yeah. It seems our new friend has everyone on edge, doesn't he?"
Sakura closed the door and crossed her arms, her brow furrowing. "It's more than that, Kakashi-sensei. There's something really strange about him. I know you sensed it too."
As Kakashi and Sakura continued their conversation, Kakashi's eyes took on a contemplative look. He shifted slightly, focusing on Sakura. "Sakura, there's something else I've been thinking about. When did we last encounter this type of chakra before? This... purity."
Sakura's brow furrowed in concentration. The question struck a chord deep within her. She began to dig through her memories, trying to connect the dots.
The nature of Shoi's chakra had seemed familiar, but she couldn't place it until now.
Then, a sudden flash of realization hit her. Her eyes widened in shock as she remembered.
"Kaguya Otsutsuki... The chakra... it's similar to the energy we felt from Kaguya."
As Sakura mentioned Kaguya's name, the air between her and Kakashi grew thick with tension.
The playful ease that usually hung between them evaporated, replaced by a deep, unsettling seriousness.
Both of their expressions shifted—Kakashi's one visible eye narrowed, while Sakura's face paled, her lips pressing into a thin line.
"Kaguya Otsutsuki..." Kakashi repeated slowly. His face had lost all trace of casualness, now reflecting the gravity of what they were discussing.
Sakura's heartbeat quickened, her mind racing. "If Shoi's chakra really resembles Kaguya's, then... we're not just dealing with some random prodigy connected to the Hyuga. He could be... something more, something far more dangerous."
Kakashi gave a curt nod, his features locked into a stern expression.
"We barely survived the first encounter with Kaguya. If there's even a chance that this Shoi has a connection to that kind of power, we need to proceed carefully as if we're facing a threat of the same magnitude."
Sakura swallowed hard, the realization sinking in. "This could change everything, Kakashi-sensei. If he really is tied to that otsutsuki's, we can't take any chances. But... we also can't let the Hyuga know we're suspicious."
Kakashi's gaze sharpened. "Exactly. We need to gather more information without making any overt moves. The last thing we want is to alert anyone or make this a public issue.
If Shoi is somehow tied to the Otsutsuki, we can't afford to let this spiral out of control."
For a moment, they stood there in silence, the weight of the implications hanging heavily in the room. Kaguya Otsutsuki was a name neither of them took lightly, and now that this shadow had resurfaced, they both knew the dangers were very real.
Finally, Sakura broke the silence, her voice quiet but firm. "I'll keep digging. I need to know if there's any connection to Kaguya."
Kakashi's face was set in a grim line, his usual laid-back demeanor long gone. "And I'll keep an eye on the situation from the Hokage's perspective. Whatever you do, don't rush this. We can't afford any missteps."
Sakura nodded, her expression just as serious. "Understood, Kakashi-sensei."
With one last glance at each other, Kakashi turned and left, the tension in the room lingering long after his departure. The mention of Kaguya had shifted everything. Now, the stakes were higher than ever.
