"Oh, for the love of.. huh, me I guess. Whatever, just wake the hell up already!" yelled an irritated, ethereal voice.
Slowly gaining consciousness, Hyto saw a young man with pale skin, dark brown hair wrapped in a ponytail, and a sour expression. He wore short, black swim trunks, white open-toed sandals, a floppy straw hat, and an open blue Hawaiian shirt that revealed the man's godly physique.
Now that Hyto looked a little closer, the man was a giant! The man could make any pro basketball player feel like a toddler, as Hyto guess the being had to at least be 15 maybe 16 feet tall, and that's with him sitting behind a desk, looking down at Hyto as he taps away at his desk in a frustrated manner.
"I'm supposed to be on a beach somewhere, preferably with Hestia sitting on my face about now, but no. Father says that before I leave, I have to ship you to a new world! Look, let's make this quick. You're being reincarnated because you died in some dramatic fashion, boohoo. To speed things along since you look slow and indecisive as hell, we're going to use the Wheel Of Reincarnation, clear?" the godly being said all at once, making Hyto feel like he was in a whirlwind.
Hyto was somewhat of a nerd and has read plenty of fanfics, so he already had the idea about reincarnation. Hyto also didn't care that he died either, as his past life was boring and unfulfilled. No girlfriend but his right hand, dead-end job, family disappointment, you get the picture. Needless to say, Hyto dreamed of being reincarnated one day, to have a fresh start in an awesome new world. But what didn't sit right with Hyto was, how the hell did he get stuck with such a pissy, lazy god?!
Before Hyto could get the chance to argue, a giant, blank game wheel with a digital display landed dangerously close to Hyto, nearly crushing him.
"Okay, spin the wheel to pick your world, chop-chop!" the god said, gesturing for Hyto to hurry.
Knowing that it probably wasn't wise to argue with the already pissed-off God, Hyto decided just to take what he could get, as he grumbled on his way to the wheel. Luckily, Hyto didn't have to spin the giant wheel, as there was a large red button he could press to activate it. Once he pressed it, the wheel spun incredibly fast until it started to slow down and eventually stop on a section that made Hyto feel like he had sand in his throat.
"The world of Naruto just a few years before the 2nd Shinobi War, bummer. Constant wars, child soldiers, magical giant beasts, and a fair amount of god-level figures. Welp, looks like you'll be ending up back here pretty fast." the god mocked, laughing heartily at Hyto's expense.
The god wasn't wrong. As much Hyto, like every other little boy, loved the idea of being a ninja like Naruto, but the truth is, the world is incredibly fucked up to its very core. The worst part was, Hyto didn't know that much about Naruto. He knew of Naruto of course, and tiny bits of information, but he wasn't that knowledgeable, as he didn't continue watching into adulthood.
"Okay, now that we're done with that, now we have to choose your boons. For some reason, Father likes you, so he has granted you 3 boons. These boons will then be altered in a way to fit into the world as naturally as possible. Now, hurry and press the button as I've already altered it to choose your 3 boons at once. I need to have my face buried in Hestia's juicy titties like yesterday." said the god as he began motorboating the air.
Ignoring the pervy, lazy god, Hyto pressed the button, hoping to get some amazing boons that'll let him survive in the deadly world of Naruto. As the wheel stopped, three random boons appeared on the screen, leaving Hyto with mixed feelings. The first and probably most exciting boon is the power of the Avatar, Elemental Bending. Hyto was excited because, in Avatar, one could only have one element, but in Naruto, some could potentially learn them all!
The second boon was Minor Regenerative Healing Factor. Hyto had mixed feelings about this one, as yes, it was a regeneration ability, but it wasn't near instantaneous like Wolverine or Deadpool to where they are damn near immortal, nor was it gradually over a few minutes, like with the Hulk. No, if Hyto lost a limb, it could take hours, months, or possibly a year to grow back, and that's if he's lucky. Still, this will be a leg up over the other ninja as any healing factor is still better than no healing factor. He just won't get to be OP because of it.
The Third and final Boon was an Energy War Bow. It was a bow that was good for long distances as well as a melee weapon to attack and defend with should an enemy gets close. The bow uses energy from the holder to form its arrows and is connected to the soul of the owner, which allows the user to hide and summon it within himself, as well as prevent anyone from stealing it. This ability wasn't necessarily bad, but as much as he tried to remember, Hyto couldn't remember a bow and arrow ever being used in Naruto, which could put a target on him.
When the god saw the boons, he lost his grimace and took on an amused expression instead. "Hmm, this could be interesting for once. Let's see how I can work this all together in one nice little package." the god said before he took a few moments to ponder over the options.
"By George, I think I've got it! Okay, so you will be born outside of Konoha a few months before the famous Minato. You will be an orphan with a "Mysterious" background that was found just outside of the village gates as a baby. Along with you will be a scroll that will only activate the day you channel your chakra through it, and this scroll will contain instructions on learning your Avatar abilities as well as Jutsu for your bow and a little surprise from me to you. Your Bow will be soul-bound and will be free to use the moment you unlock your chakra, but you will have to study the jutsu for your Avatar abilities.
Also, I know in your past life, you had a big love for felines and were highly attuned with them, which is why Nekos will be the main theme for the Rasugi clan. Think of them as the exact opposite of the Inuzuka, only with your abilities, the Rasugi clan should be far more competent. I won't bother going into all the details now, but I threw in a few nice surprises in there for you." the God said, patting himself on the back for a good job
When Hyto heard what God said, he was slightly peeved that he couldn't just learn all of the abilities right away, but he figured that even Aang couldn't learn them right away, and he had the other Avatars knowledge, trainers, and still took over a year just to learn the elements, so Hyto knew it would take forever for him to learn it by himself.
"Well, not that this all hasn't been pleasant, which it hasn't, but I have to go make Hestia suck my dick from the back. I'll be sure to watch your progress now and then, toodles!" was the last thing Hyto heard from the god before his world went black.
After what felt like an eternity in darkness, Hyto opened his eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling, confused about what was happening. Then the interaction he had with god resurfaced in his mind, and he had to pinch himself to make sure that he wasn't dreaming.
'So, I'm truly in the world of Naruto in Minato's period, huh? Fuck...' was all Hyto could think and he let out a heavy sigh, slightly cursing his luck.
Though it was always entertaining watching Naruto and like every little boy, Hyto dreamed of performing jutsu just like the characters on tv, the actual prospect of being a child soldier in a period where people are killed, raped, and captured like it was normal, did not appeal to Hyto's sense of survival one bit?
'Maybe I can be a merchant? Nothing happens to them, right?' Hyto asked himself, but then remembered that even the D or C ranked missions, which there were plenty of, were full of missions protecting merchants from bandits. Also, the thought of being weak in this world did not sit well with Hyto one bit. The only way to be truly safe and free was to be strong enough to tell everyone to fuck off.
Then, the memories of the last 4 years of this body flooded his mind, and Hyto's mind was full of new information, but not much, since 4-year-old orphans didn't have that much freedom. The last 4 years were extremely uneventful and boring, and Hyto was more than thankful for being able to skip the whole baby shitting on itself period that he read about in his online fanfictions.
Today was something special though, as today was the day that the young non-clan kids in the village would have their chakra unlocked for them, which would allow Hyto to finally train in his literal God-given abilities.
Not wanting to be late on such a special day, Hyto sat up and finally looked around his room. Being an orphan, Hyto didn't have much in the way of things. There was the thin single bed he laid on, a small wooden nightstand next to it, a full-length mirror, and a small closet towards the foot of the bed. Besides that, there was nothing else, not even paint or wallpaper on the walls.
Looking back at the mirror, Hyto suddenly got curious as to what he looked like in his new life. Hopping down from the bed, Hyto was slightly disoriented from his limbs now being far shorter than what he remembered, but he put those thoughts to the back of his head as he walked in front of the slightly dusty mirror.
Hyto was pleasantly surprised with his new appearance, as even though he was only a child, it was clear he would be very good-looking one day. He had chocolate brown skin, slightly chubby cheeks, thick lips, and a small cute nose. He had a short, black, straight hair that had a few curls, golden eyes with vertical cat-like pupils, and calm look about his features.
Currently only wearing some cloth-wrapped underwear, Hyto made his way to his closet and found he only had a few tattered outfits to his name. Knowing there was nothing he could do about it now, Hyto quickly put on an outfit and made his way back to the mirror to check himself out.
Hyto wore a plain black long sleeve shirt, dark grey pants with gold wrappings on his thigh, black shinobi boots, and a black facemask to cover the bottom half of his face like Kakashi. Was he biting Kakashi's style a little? Not really since Kakashi wasn't even born yet, so it was fine.
Done admiring himself in the mirror, Hyto realized that he took too long getting ready and rushed out of his room, but not before grabbing the scroll he was born with and tucking it into his pocket. Hyto was determined to start his training as soon as his chakra was unlocked, and didn't want to waste time running back to the orphanage afterward.
As he said a quick goodbye to the matron and ran outside, Hyto found that even as a 4-year-old, he was way faster and more agile than he was in his past life, and couldn't wait to see his progress once he was finally trained.
A few moments later, Hyto made it to one of the training grounds closest to the Hokage's office, and was completely out of breath. Though he had more stamina than in his past life, it still wasn't very impressive and made a mental note to fix that as soon as possible.
Looking around the field, there were far more kids than Hyto expected, but this is an event for all of the village kids, regardless of background or future plans, so in the end, perhaps it shouldn't have been that surprising.
A few minutes after Hyto sat down and caught his breath, a middle-aged man Hyto quickly recognized as a younger Hiruzen made his way before the crowd of children and their parents on the side.
'He isn't going to give one of those long-winded speeches I've always heard about in the show, is he?' Hyto thought to himself, and what he feared happened. Ten whole minutes later, Hiruzen was finally done with his "Will of fire" speech and with the help of a few chunnin, started unlocking all of the kid's chakra.
When it came time for Hyto's turn, he was surprised to find the Hokage standing before him, as he was fairly sure he entered a different line on purpose.
"Hyto, right? Tell me, do you have the will of fire? And if so, what are your plans for the future?" Hiruzen asked as he looked down at Hyto with a calm, but soul-piercing gaze.
'He really is the Hokage, huh? Well, I guess I better tell him what he wants to hear. I already don't have any ties to this place as an orphan, so might as well not place a target on my back.' Max thought to himself.
"I want to be a shinobi so that I can be strong like you and make sure there is no more fighting in the world!" Hyto said in a childish manner. He was supposed to be 4, so it wouldn't do well to start talking like a grown man.
Hearing Hyto's response, Hiruzen was genuinely surprised for a second, then settled into a kind look.
"Those are some big goals you have there, Hyto. You will need to train hard from now on, okay? Now, lets unlock that chakra of yours, shall we?" Hiruzen said as he placed his hands on Hyto's back.
The next thing Hyto felt was a burst of warm energy coursing through his body until it settled at his stomach, just under his belly button. Once it reached his belly button, Hyto felt something crack, then suddenly his whole body was full of energy and he felt a pool of said energy welling up in his stomach.
'This is it! I can finally start my badass shinobi adventure!' Hyto thought to himself as he left the line and ran to the training ground near the orphanage that his memories told him is often deserted.
