Naruto: Blood & Pleasure

In one moment, I found myself gazing at the sky on my terrace, contemplating life's purpose and adopting a philosophical demeanor akin to a wise sage. The next moment, as I continued to gaze at the unchanged sky, something felt different. So, I turned my head slightly towards my surroundings, like any normal person would, and noticed an unusually carved mountain nearby. What I witnessed could only be described as... indescribable. There was no reaction powerful enough to capture the essence of what I was seeing. Because what I saw was a Mount Rushmore! Not just any Mount Rushmore, but the one vividly remembered in my mind—the Hokage Rushmore that defined my childhood. It was then that I realized I had departed from my so-called modern world, entering one of the most popular and cliched worlds imaginable. However, what I beheld was not the Naruto World I remembered. It was a more cruel and cutthroat reality, filled with dirty politics, bloodline racism, genocides, and much more. But it was also adorned with one more thing, and that was beauties—yes, beauties of every variety imaginable: blondes, pinks, blacks, browns, tall, thin, thick; tsundere, yandere, kuudere. And let's not forget one more thing – I also possessed something unique that no one else in this world had. What was it? Well, you'll have to read the story to find out! What are you still doing here? Chapter V: First Mission?

Chapter V: First Mission?

___

All the students of the [Department of Interrogation & Torture] were gathered in a dark room with very little light available which looked quite suitable to its theme.

All of them wore nervous expressions as the Head Jonin stood in front of them. Nobody knew her appearance, but from her body stature, they could discern that she was a female in her mid twenties.

Her voice was cold enough to make even lava freeze, and with the tone she spoke, nobody dared to disobey her orders.

She glanced at the dozens of thirteen year olds in front of her with a monotone look before pointing to one of the girls and saying, "You!"

The one being pointed at was none other than Ino. She looked around a little nervous, realizing it was her who was being singled out. "Y-Yes!" she stammered in response.

"Tell me the first rule of {DIT}" She asked.

Ino calmed her mind, knowing that this was not the time to show nervousness. As their every action and answer would be tested, potentially influencing their exam outcome.

"The first rule of DIT is {No one can resist 100% torture}, Head!" Ino answered.

"Good," she said before turning to the other students and adding, "I will explain it only once before starting the test, so be sure to remember it clearly and etch it into your mind and body. Nobody— I mean nobody—can survive 100% torture. You will be broken, your body destroyed and your mind collapsed. It is just a matter of time."

Everyone gulped hearing her words. Even though they knew the rules of {DIT}, the way and the tone that she said made them shudder a little at its ominousness.

Continuing, she said, "There are three ways to handle yourself if you ever find yourself in that position."

- First: Suicide. Yes, suicide. I know some of you may think this is absurd, and this is the worst possible option. But let me tell you, this option is heaven compared to what you will be going through if you get captured. Especially girls. So be ready to take your pill or bite your tongue at the earliest chance you get.

The girls had an uncomfortable look upon hearing it, but the Head Jonin didn't care about their reaction and continued with her explanation.

- Second: Resist. Yes, resist. You may be thinking that the first rule says you cannot ever fully resist the torture. However, with this option, you can buy time—for yourself, for your teammates, or for whatever purpose you have. So buy as much time as you can, to make sure that any information you have becomes useless by the time you tell them, or try to tell half-truths to mislead them, attempt to escape, or lead them into an ambush.

In a straightforward way, do everything so that their goal is not achieved, and die valiantly performing your duty to the village or to whoever your life is worth sacrificing for.

Everyone had goosebumps hearing her say those words, motivating them to sacrifice themselves, in her chilling tone. But nobody had the guts to question her, so they could only sit in their positions as she continued with her words.

- Lastly: Give up. This might sound unorthodox, and treasonous but remember this: if you can't commit suicide and can't bear the pain, give in.

Everyone had a shocked expression, as she was essentially discussing what could be considered treason. Before they could respond, she continued.

"But remember this, every bit of information you give in to your enemy, increases the chance it may be used to harm your family, lover, child, and ultimately your village."

"So remember, whatever path you choose, think it over thousands of times in your mind and consider the possible results before deciding," she emphasised.

Everyone was silent, many unable to process the information she had just told them. After all, giving information to the enemies to save your own life was one of the most disgraceful things one can do.

"Ok, enough explanation for now. Let's begin the test," she announced, waking everyone from their thoughts.

"Now!! all of the boys go to the right room, and girls to the left room. Quickly change into the clothes provided there," she instructed.

Hinata looked to her left, finding a door, and after exchanging glances with her friends, they advanced into the room.

In there they found many simpler clothes—shorts that reached up to their knees and t-shirts covering up to their elbows. So they quickly started changing into them.

As they changed, Ino asked Sakura, "Are you nervous?"

"Of course, I am. See this!" Sakura said nervously, showing her trembling hand.

"Why did you even join the {DIT} then? From what I can remember, you weren't in it the last time the test happened?" Hinata questioned as she put on her new pants.

"Ask this blondie! She made me join it! I didn't even know the speech before the actual test would be this terrifying," Sakura pointed to Ino.

"Uhh.... I thought a little bit of torture-training would mesh well with your medical training," Ino replied with a guilty expression.

"That can be true. You can use your medical arts to give a hell of a pain to anyone," Hinata added while her face showed a thoughtful expression.

"See, I thought of the same thing. That's why I recommended it to you," Ino explained.

"Geez, you two are becoming scary after joining this department. When did both of you start thinking about how to give someone pain efficiently?" Sakura said with a shudder.

"And I don't want to be a torturer for hell's sake, but a medic. What kind of medic learns how to torture people?" Sakura protested.

"You are overthinking, Sakura. They don't teach how to torture someone here, only how to resist it. So now that you have come, stay in it and learn. Maybe it can be beneficial for you in the future," Hinata reassured as she put on her shirt, covering her chest.

"Are you cursing me to get tortured, Hinata?!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Oh-no no, I w-was just saying… that it would be beneficial for you," Hinata quickly denied flustering a little.

"It's okay, Hinata. I know you didn't mean anything bad. I was just joking," Sakura said with a smile.

"Oh, thanks," Hinata sighed in relief.

"So any suggestions, girls?" Sakura asked as they were about to leave the room.

"..."

"..."

"Best not to gaze into the Head's eyes for too long," both Ino and Hinata said simultaneously.

"Why? And why would I even do that? And who even tries to stare into those scary eyes?" Sakura raised her eyebrow.

"Idiots do that. So, I am reminding you again, just don't try to do that."

"O-Okay… and don't call me an idiot in front of my face dammit." Sakura nodded to their unusual seriousness as they left the room wearing different clothes.

Tatsuya and Hanabi were observing the room where the Head Jonin was delivering her speech to the students about the rules of what to do if one gets captured, from a one-way mirror in a hidden room.

"She is quite unorthodox, right?" a mature voice said from their sides.

"Yeah, she is for sure," Tatsuya answered, gazing at the Head Jonin with a certain look in his violet eyes.

"How?" Hanabi looked at him in confusion hearing his answer.

"Teaching students to give in to torture and spill the secrets of the village is a crime worth of treason," the lady answered instead of Tatsuya.

"But then how is she teaching them that, and nobody is arresting her?" Hanabi asked.

"It's because it's just a mental trick to deceive their mind, even the higher-ups approve of this method. Didn't you hear what she said right after telling them to give in? If you were to divulge any information out of fear of torture, the ones who will suffer will be your own family and people first." Tatsuya explained.

"This line of thinking creates a cue in their minds, fostering a sense of guilt for every bit of information they disclose. As that guilt accumulates, it compels them to provide false information, attempting to mislead enemies or withhold information, even in the toughest situations if they're fiercely loyal. It also gives them a false sense that even if they divulge information, the village won't brand them as traitors."

"Isn't this... wrong?" Hanabi asked, her shock evident.

"How is it wrong, Hanabi?" Tatsuya questioned her. Without waiting for her reply, he continued his words.

"Every village desires soldiers who would sacrifice their lives before spilling even an ounce of information to enemies, follow orders without hesitation, and be ready to die for their missions. They employ various methods to instil this loyalty."

"The method before you is just a small fish in the sea of sharks. You're unaware of the lengths people go to for loyal soldiers who can embrace death at a moment's notice," Tatsuya explained to his sister.

"And if you're concerned about those students in the room, don't be, because as they grow, they'll comprehend these techniques on their own. Eventually, they'll apply these methods to future academy students."

"Perhaps, in the future, it might be me utilizing these tricks for my benefit, or it may even be you, Hanabi. Therefore, observe and learn how the world behaves before forming your perspective," Tatsuya advised, delving into the philosophical nature of the situation.

"And If you are still unconvinced, just look back at our own clan's way of doing things. You would understand it immediately." Tatsuya said, pinning down the last nail in the coffin.

Hanabi remained silent, deep in thought, absorbing everything. It was the first time she had seen this side of her brother. He was always the fun, joking, and carefree type in her eyes, but now he appeared serious and profound. The logic in his words resonated with her, leaving little room for denial.

Observing her silence, Tatsuya gently patted her head and said, "Don't be upset, Hanabi. It's human nature to act for one's benefits. Don't be naive and resist the current, or you'll be swept away."

"Rather, see the flow, understand it, use it to your benefit, and only after that, make your own path that suits your principles. We are Ninjas after all; we are born to adapt to any circumstances"

'Big brother is really wise!!' Hanabi thought.

*Clap. Clap.*

A round of applause suddenly filled the room, interrupting the moment between Tatsuya and Hanabi.

"Amazing, Tatsuya-chan, just amazing. It was the first time hearing such wise words from a boy of such age. The rumours really weren't wrong about you," the lady with long blonde hair said.

"Thank you, Lady Yamanaka. I apologise; I almost forgot you were in the room," Tatsuya said, bowing slightly..

The woman in front of him was none other than Yamanaka Suu, Ino's mother and the current head of the Yamanaka clan. She also held a council seat in Hidden Leaf's Council Board. In her prime, her strength easily reached the rank of Elite Jonin.

As for her appearance, she was as beautiful as what the future Ino would become, and with the additional allure of a mother, it made her quite the charismatic figure. A MILF in crude words.

'Why are blondes so hot in this world,' Tatsuya pondered.

Just as the thought crossed his mind, a sudden ding sounded in his mind.
