Naruto : Behind The Scenes Big Boss System

My name is now Uchiha Gen. I was adopted by my uncle, and I have a cousin with a constant smug "legendary prodigy" look on his face—Uchiha Madara. I also have another cousin who’s perpetually annoyed by me but doesn’t dare say it because he can't beat me. His name is Uchiha Izuna. Then there's this absurd system I got stuck with, called the “Behind-the-Scenes Big Boss System.” Every day, it urges me to go and conquer the world, constantly threatening me with “elimination” if I don’t comply... for an Early Access to more than 200 chaps A month , feel free to join us on : Patreon.com/IndifferentVillain

Rasengan

"System, redeem Rasengan!"

After eliminating the enemy chunin, Uchiha Gen didn't dare to waste any time. He immediately moved to aid Madara, who was already covered in wounds and on the verge of collapse.

"Rasengan, A-rank jutsu, costs 5000 points. Confirm redemption?"

"Yes!"

With a surge of warmth coursing through him, Gen knew he had instantly mastered the Rasengan. During the battle, he had carefully considered which A-rank jutsu to select, eventually deciding on this signature move from the original series.

To kill a jonin, regular A-rank jutsu would likely fall short. Only a high-powered single-target jutsu would suffice, and the Rasengan was known for its devastating impact in the original story. Moreover, the Rasengan required no hand signs and could be used in any form—single-handed, double-handed, or otherwise. Naruto only needed Shadow Clones to assist due to his poor chakra control.

Gen, however, prided himself on his chakra control.

"Let's see if this Hyuga jonin can withstand the first step of Uchiha Gen's rise during the Warring States era!"

With the Rasengan under his belt, Gen's confidence soared. His three-tomoe Sharingan spun ominously. From a distance, he could see Madara was utterly defenseless, unable to do anything but take hits. He looked even worse than Izuna had earlier.

Gen chuckled softly, relieved Madara was still alive. He tossed six kunai at the pair, each equipped with an explosive tag.

Gen had honed his skill in shuriken and kunai throwing, and the kunai reached his targets instantly.

"Move, Madara! Detonate!"

A series of six explosions rang out, and through the noise, Madara's enraged voice was barely audible, "Uchiha Gen, you just wait..."

A figure was flung back by the blast's shockwave, and Gen rushed over to catch him. It was Madara.

As soon as Gen caught him, Madara spat out a mouthful of blood. His sword-wielding hand was split open, blood gushing uncontrollably. His clothes were in tatters, and a deep, shocking cut ran across his shoulder, dyeing his entire arm red with blood, hiding any trace of his original skin tone.

Blood streamed down his face, giving his single-tomoe Sharingan a menacing, bloody aura. His body bore various cuts and injuries from jutsu. His left ribcage was caved in, likely from an Eight Trigrams Palm Strike—by Gen's estimate, at least nine of his twelve ribs were broken. His legs were covered in cuts, blood oozing from every wound, making him look like a blood-soaked specter.

Gen couldn't help but be shocked at the extent of Madara's injuries. If he were in Madara's place, he'd probably have fainted from the pain. Yet Madara had endured it all, holding his opponent back tooth and nail. Both Madara and Izuna had monstrous levels of willpower.

"You idiot! Throwing explosive tags at me like that—were you trying to blow me up too?" Madara coughed, his anger boiling over. He didn't actually want to argue, but he couldn't hold back his frustration. He had been promised a ten-minute delay; then, Gen had casually extended it another five minutes. Thankfully, Madara's strength had allowed him to last, but Gen's solution had been a barrage of explosive tags with no regard for friend or foe.

Gen smirked. "I threw the kunai at a specific angle. Though you were technically in range, you were on the outer edge of the blast. Most of the explosion hit the jonin directly, and with your reflexes, you managed to use the shockwave to escape. See? It was all part of the plan."

Madara blinked, realizing it actually made sense. He was still annoyed, but he had no more complaints.

Gen's expression turned serious. "Enough talk. Six explosive tags aren't enough to finish him. Can you keep going? Let's take him down!"

"Of course, I'm Uchiha Madara! By the way, when did you unlock the Sharingan? Three tomoe already—been keeping secrets, have you?"

Madara grinned. Despite barely being able to stand, his sheer presence was undeniable.

As they spoke, the explosions subsided, revealing the enemy jonin—disheveled but largely unscathed.

"You fought him for over ten minutes and nearly died but didn't even manage a scratch?" Gen commented, not with sarcasm, but Madara couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed.

"Then you try it, loudmouth!" he retorted, annoyed.

The Hyuga jonin did not attack them immediately. Instead, his Byakugan surveyed the distant battlefield. Thanks to Gen's intervention, the Uchiha now had the upper hand and were closing in on the remaining six enemy chunin. However, the chunin's teamwork and mutual support meant the Uchiha would need more time to fully subdue them.

"You've both surprised me," the Hyuga jonin remarked coldly. "At first, I feared an ambush when I saw you all gathered together, but I couldn't resist such an opportunity. When I confirmed there was no trap, I was thrilled. I thought you were just children, ready for the slaughter."

He paused, then continued, "But I was wrong. You've outperformed my expectations, especially you two. It's hard to imagine what you'll achieve if you're allowed to grow. But luckily, I found you tonight. Killing the genius of an enemy clan is always a pleasure."

Without waiting for their response, he vanished, reappearing behind them in an instant, his blade humming with a mixture of wind and lightning chakra.

"Eight Trigrams Cross Slash!"

With a loud crash, the rooftop beneath them was sliced cleanly in two. Madara had already leapt aside.

"He's too fast...I can't dodge!" Gen thought, his mind racing. In terms of pure taijutsu, he couldn't compete with Madara.

"First, one down," the Hyuga jonin sneered, confident his full-force strike couldn't be avoided.

But Gen didn't need to dodge…
