#D-rank pay

: One thousand Ryo to fifty thousand Ryo.

#B-rank pay

: One million Ryo to ten million Ryo.

: Shinobi encounters mostly B-ranked ones.

: Tazuna and the entire Land of waves wasn't able to afford even a B-ranked mission so it is bound to have atleast this expensive which is the reason why he deceived Konohagakure and Team 7 with a C-ranked mission.

#A-rank pay

: Ten million Ryo to fifty million Ryo.

: Shinobi encounters mostly A-ranked ones or sometimes ANBU.

:Asuma Sarutobi was an A-ranked shinobi who had a bounty of 35 million Ryo in the black market which shows how risky these missions can be so it's appropriate to have them between ten to fifty million Ryo.

#S-rank pay

: Fifty million Ryo to hundred million Ryo.

: Shinobi encounter, mostly ANBU or S-ranked ones.
