Chapter 9 An Agreement with Raphael

After Akasha sat down, Raphael sat down next to her and quickly pulled open his collar, as if he was enjoying the moment.

"Come on! I'll let you bite."

Akasha was confused. What the operation is. She really had come to eat dinner, though Raphael's blood was also her food.

"I didn't mean that." She tried to explain.

"Hurry up! If you don't take action now, I'll go back on my word!" Raphael didn't care about it at all. He was sure that Akasha was thinking about it.

"Then I'll start!" Akasha didn't refuse anymore.

She approached Raphael, stared at the vein around his neck, and nervously licked her sharp teeth to find a suitable position for her lower lip.

After waiting for a long time, Akasha still didn't take action, only shallow breathing feathers sprayed on the skin.

"Hurry up!" Raphael turned his head and urged impatiently.

"I've never eaten human blood before. I don't know what to do." Biting her lips, Akasha looked at Raphael's neck in embarrassment.

There was a vampire in the world who had never sucked human blood. Obviously, Raphael didn't believe it. He looked at Akasha as if she was a fool.

"Do you think I'm an idiot? How could a vampire not eat human blood?"

"I really didn't!" She retorted in a low voice. "I am a vegetarian vampire."

Akasha recalled that once upon a time, she felt bad as soon as she smelled human blood. In the beginning, her father would ask someone to bring the blood to her one by one and force her to drink it up.

Every time she smelled the blood, she wasn't happy. What she smelled from the smell of blood, was the suffering of human beings who were forced to become food or the disgust of the greedy soul that made a deal with vampires. Those people's blood tasted bitter and stinky. She couldn't swallow it at all, so she wouldn't find humans as her food.

She only drank some fruit or plant juice. Later, her father also ignored her. All the vampires regarded her as a freak and a shame. They laughed at her and played tricks on her

"A vegetarian vampire?" Seeing the sad look on her face, Raphael began to shake his previous cognition and try to believe that there was such a vampire. "Then what is your food?"

"It's juice, vegetable juice... I haven't drunk it for two days." Tears welled up in her eyes. Akasha was really hungry.

Hearing Akasha's answer, Raphael fell silent. Was the vampire so bad now? Why did she have to eat this kind of food?

"Then why do you want to drink my blood?" Raphael questioned.

"Because you are a pure human. Your blood can make a vampire become a human." Perhaps it was Raphael who asked her to bite her, so she told her purpose frankly.

Raphael was shocked. He didn't expect that there would be a vampire who wanted to become a human being.

He raised the corners of his mouth sarcastically. Those ugly humans would do anything to become vampires and obtain immortality. He lowered his head to hide the tears in his eyes.

"Then would you like to change a place to bite me?" It was rare for Raphael to be considerate. He put his injured hand in front of Akasha and bit it.

Looking at Raphael's hand, Akasha found that his fingertips were slender and beautiful. The wound had scarlet scabs.

Raphael's eyes were fixed on her face. Akasha glanced at him, Raphael yawned and gave her a hint with her eyes to hurry up. Under such gaze, Akasha couldn't help but feel shy at the thought of what she was going to do next.

She held up Raphael's hand, blushed, and asked dully, "what should I do?"

Raphael fell silent. It was ridiculous that a vampire would ask him, a human, to teach her how to eat himself. What was he doing? Raphael withdrew his hand and rubbed his forehead helplessly.

"I regret it! Stay here and don't move!"

He asked the waiter for two cups of coffee. He needed to wake up.

Raphael returned to the sofa and handed the coffee to Akasha.

"Have a cup of coffee. This should be your food, right?"

"Well, I haven't drunk it. It should be OK!" She took a sip, and the aroma of coffee filled her mouth. It was bitter but unexpectedly mellow.

"It's delicious. Thank you!" Squinting her eyes, Akasha enjoyed the unique smell.

Looking at Akasha's surprised face, Raphael had already regarded her as a poor vampire who had never drunk coffee. Raphael looked at Akasha, who was tasting her coffee. The guess in his mind had a positive answer.

"You are not Margaret's daughter, right?" Raphael put down the coffee cup. The glass and the bottom of the cup collided with each other, making a harsh noise, and interrupting her complicated thoughts.

Akasha was still thinking about the blood. She was sure that Raphael was a pure human. The opportunity to become a human was right in front of her. After all these years, she has been living as a vampire, and when she becomes a human, can she become a real human being?

Raphael's sudden question made Akasha even more hesitant.

"Yes, I'm not the daughter of Margaret. I'm just a vampire," Perhaps she would never be able to live like a human being. She didn't even have a family.

"Then how did you become Margaret?" Count Edward, his uncle was as sharp as an eagle. It's not easy to deceive him.

"I met Anna on my way back to the manor with her. As soon as he saw me, Count Edward told me that I was the one he was looking for, and so did the two men. I explained to them that I was not, but they didn't believe me!" She sighed helplessly. It was really a big mistake. She didn't know how Anna was going.

"If it bothers you, I'll leave right away."

"I see." Raphael tapped his fingers on the table rhythmically and calculated something. "How about you stay and cooperate with me?"

"Cooperate?" Akasha looked at Raphael puzzled, she didn't understand what he was talking about.

"Make a deal with me. You stay and pretend to be Akasha. Cooperate with me to expose Edward's plot. If you want blood, I will provide it to you at any time. How do you think?" Raphael looked at Akasha calmly, with an arrogant look on his face.

Akasha was tempted by the condition that she could have pure blood at any time, but it was obviously not easy to stay and expose Count Edward's plot. Perhaps she could get the blood in other ways.

Raphael seemed to have seen through Akasha's mind. He approached Akasha and said maliciously.

"If you miss this opportunity, you won't have a second one."

This was clearly a domineering term! But Akasha had no choice but to agree.

Raphael took a sip of his coffee. He made his request unhurriedly. Obviously, he had planned for a long time, and Akasha was just a handy chess piece.

"Let's talk about our next plan. First, pretend to be my fiancee. Second, no matter what Edward says to you, tell me in detail. Third, make Edward think that you can approach me. You are special to me and make him lower his guard."

Raphael was confident that his plan was perfect. He knew that Edward had been looking for his weakness. In this case, Raphael would disguise a weakness and let Edward lower his vigilance to expose his plot.

Hearing Raphael's series of requests, it was too late for her to escape.

She had no choice but to agree. After all, Raphael had the pure blood that she couldn't resist. She had no way to resist.

"When I drink pure blood and become a human, I must be as far away from Raphael as possible."

Pointing at the straw, Akasha thought to herself.
