She cursed with a distorted face.
Her fingers tightened, then tightened again, resisting the urge to throw her phone away.
Her chest heaved dramatically before finally calming down.

After stuffing the phone back into her bag, she finally focused her attention on her surroundings.
The Rong Family Mansion wasn't in a remote area. Even though she had just stepped out of this area, it was supposed to be the busiest time on the street; it shouldn't be this silent and deserted.

She whispered, gripping her small bag tightly.
