The boyfriend meets the mate

The girls entered. Arni locked the door and looked at all the vampires who were standing there, the girls had confused look on their face.

"SUPRISE!!" the vampires shouted startling the girls.

"What the-?!" Arni said keeping a hand on her chest to calm down her heartbeat.

"Why you guys are here?!" Jessica asked looking a little pissed.

"We are here to protect you girls," Max said.

"Why?!" Soya asked confusedly.

"We don't need your protection", Jessica said sternly shocking everyone except for George and Lia.

"We know you heard us Jess and you know you need our protection," George said.

Jessica started thinking about what he overheard George and Lia talking about. They were talking about Jessica and how she isn't what she is but also more just like George.

"Then tell me how am I," Jessica asked shocking everyone except the couple.

"Not yet, it's not the time sis," George said while giving a pleading look to Jessica who was about to say something but the bell rang indicating that they have class, so, she stormed out of the room.

"We will leave" Arni and Soya followed Jessica.

While the three were walking, Arni and Soya had many questions that they wanted to ask Jessica, but seeing her angry and pissed-off expression, they decided not to ask anything and simply go to their next class with her.

When they reached the class they directly sit with Liam and his group, like always, on the last seat. Liam was about to ask Jessica something but seeing her face and the two girls shaking their heads sideways, he understood that something was wrong.

Liam let it go since the teacher had entered and moreover he didn't want an angry Jessica angrier, making her burst from anger at him. As for Jessica, she was not attentive to the lecture.

'Why the hell do I need protection and what am I?? Ahhh they have made my mind mess??' Jessica was thinking.

After the lecture, Liam and his group with the three girls were going to the locker to keep their books.

"Babe everything good?" Liam asked creeping his arm around Jessica who nodded and not minding the hand since she was used to it.

"Btw, where did you guys go suddenly?" Peter asked.

"We had some work" Arni replied making the latter blush a little.

"What work?" Liam asked.

"Nothing you should know," Jessica said coldly startling everyone.

"Are you okay babe-" Liam was interrupted.

"I said nothing means nothing," Jessica said jerking Liam's hands from her waist.

Arni rushed towards Jessica pushing Liam to the side a little who was shocked by Jessica's behavior because she never behaved like that instead she has always been calm.

"Jess, calm down," Soya said patting her back.

"Soya you know very well that she won't calm down like this, we have to do this" Arni turned Jessica towards her and slapped her startling the latter.

"What the-?!" Soya said in shock.

"See now she is calm," Arni said proudly "Right Jess", Arni asked Jessica who nodded still shocked by her action and caressing her own cheek.

"Babe" Liam said softly getting Jessica's attention "Are you okay? Something happened?" Liam asked.

"No-nothing. I am sorry" Jessica said.

"It's okay, babe" Liam pushed Arni to Peter who caught her in time.

"Bro, what the hell?!" Arni said getting out of the grip.

"I used to do the same before but you never got angry before," Liam said and smashed his lips on Jessica's.

'Yeah that's true but now I don't like, why? I like him though or not' Arni thought.

Jessica broke the kiss first and pretty early than usual when she felt someone tapping her shoulder. She turned around and saw Soya doing it.

"Why sis?" Jessica asked but Soya just pointed in front.

"Bro-brother," Jessica said looking at George who was smiling but not matching his eyes with Max who was having the same reaction.

"Brother?" Liam and his group questioned.

"Yeah, her brother at whose house we spent the vacation," Arni said.

George and Max walked towards them.

"Sis, we have to go home together," George said "And all three of you are coming", he added.

"Okay, brother" Jessica showed a thumbs up making George smile a little.

"And who is he?" Liam pointed at Max.

"He is Max, brother's friend," Jessica said unknowingly smiling which didn't go unnoticed by Max who smiled back.

"Jess you will go with Max since my car is full," George said getting frowned eyebrows from Jessica.

"You are sending your sister with some man alone, what if he does something to her?!" Liam was becoming protective of his girlfriend.

"I trust him that he won't do anything" George assured.

"But I don't" Liam argued.

"Liam you don't know him but we know so now shut up," Jessica said glaring at Liam.

'Feisty' Max thought and smirked.

"But babe what if he-" Liam was interrupted again.

"I said shut up," Jessica said in a deadly cold voice making a shiver run down everyone's spine.

'Like brother like sister," Max thought shaking his head a little.

"What happened to you, Jessica? You have changed....." Peter said worriedly.

"Nothing," Jesica said and turned back to the two vampires.

"Max I am sorry for his behavior," Jessica said with a little guilty face.

"Not your fault", Max said controlling his urge to call her by a sweet name.

"And brother I have no problem I will go with him," Jessica said. George nodded.

Jessica turned her face towards Max "I trust him" these words made a huge impact on Max making him smile widely because he knows that Jessica doesn't trust easily and even if she does it is difficult to get close to her and make her guard down around down so that she lets you in.

'I came closer to her and now the next step is to know her more than I already know from her mouth' Max thought smiling which didn't go unnoticed by Liam who was raging inside but kept calm.

"No space, really?" Lia asked as she came.

"This is my sister-in-law, Lia" Jessica introduced. The human boys nodded.

"We two are the only ones in the car babe," Lia said crossing her arms on her chest.

"Umm...that is- that" George had no idea what to say.

"I think he wants to spend some time alone with his wife that's why? Right brother?" Soya saved the day.

George nodded vigorously and mentally thanked her for saving his and Max's ass from getting exposed. But now the human boys had a question "Who will Soya and Arni go with?"

"We will go with Sam and Leo right?" Arni asked. The two vampires nodded.
