Pendant

University day,

Everyone went to university together and in the same order which they took before while coming back with the vampires and no one objected to that. Tzuyu and Lily went somewhere else to work and not with the others.

They reached the university early so that no one would see them together and have any suspicious eye on them and ask questions.

When Jessica was about to get off the car, Max grabbed her wrist and stopped her.

Jessica looked at him in confusion. Max left her wrist and searched for something in his bag.

"Here," Max handed her a box.

"What is it?" Jessica questioned but took the box nevertheless.

"It's um... Kinda a gift" Max was nervous.

"A gift?" Jessica gave him a suspicious look "My birthday is not near or not like I got good grades or anything, so why?"Jessica asked.

"An apology gift" Max answered. Jessica's lips made an 'O' and opened the gift.

Jessica opened the gift and was met with a beautiful necklace-type pendant. Jessica looked at Max with shock who got worried that she didn't like it.

"What happened?! You didn't like it?!"

"No, you idiot! It's beautiful" Jessica smiled. Max sighed in relief.

"I thought you didn't like it"

"Why would I not like it when it's so beautiful and pretty" Jessica was looking at the pendant while saying.

"Well to be honest it's cute" Jessica looked at Max and turned her back to him while handing him the pendant "Help me wear it" Jessica was excited. Max nodded happily and helped her wear it.

After wearing it, Jessica lowered the car mirror and looked at her neck. It was a beautiful pendant that had a bottle that contained a black color heart.

"From where did you get it?" Jessica looked at Max.

"Somewhere, now let's get out the others are waiting," Max said. Jessica nodded. They got out of the car.

In the classroom,

All the students almost arrived but the most important thing was that Liam and his gang had arrived and were sitting with the girls.

Peter and Arni had no interaction though Peter tried to start the conservation but Arni would end it and that would hurt and rage Peter that because of Arni's new boyfriend she is not talking to him. Whereas Arni was normal with the others but not with Peter and these things were noticed by the couple and Soya. Both the girls looked at each other and ignored Arni's behavior because they knew the reason.

Soya was being normal with everyone and talking and laughing with everyone. There was nothing wrong with her behavior except the fact that she was covering Arni and her weird behavior towards Peter which Peter and Liam noticed finding it suspicious but decided to ask the girls later.

Whereas Jessica was in no mood to talk to anyone so she put on her earphones and started vibing a little to music but still controlling since she was in public. Jessica was sitting two seats away from the window seats.

"Paul" Jessica called the boy who was sitting beside the window. He looked at her.

"Yes sis-in-law" Paul smirked. Jessica rolled her eyes.

"I want to sit there, you can sit here?" Jessica stood up and walked to him but he didn't move.

"Paul, come over," Liam said but he shook his head.

"Why don't you sit on my lap sis-in-law" Paul smirked.

"How about I stab this pencil on your dick and thighs and take a seat there" Jessica smiled as Paul gulped.

"How about I get up from this seat and you can seat?" Paul asked.

"Much better," Jessica said with a smile. Paul in a rush exchanged his seat and others laughed at him but Liam was angry and decided to punish him in the practice.

Jessica had her music on again and looked out of the window while playing with her new pendant. The moment the pendant came into her hand she looked at it and wondered.

'From where did he get this pendant?' she thought but her thoughts were soon interrupted by a hand on her shoulder.

She unwillingly paused the music and looked at the owner of the hand and it was Soya.

"Who gave you this necklace?" Soya asked "Because you didn't have it when we left"

"It is an apology gift" Soya and Arni nodded. Jessica was about to play her songs again when another hand patted her shoulder.

"Now what?!" she whined.

"Who gave you this gift?" Liam asked.

"A friend"

"Who is that friend?"

"Someone you know but don't know at the same time, now can I listen to songs?!"

"No, not until you answer my question" Liam was serious but Jessica was in no mood.

"What question?" Jessica was bored and wanted to listen to songs.

"Who was it that gave you this gift?!"

"I said a friend"

"Yeah but which friend?"

"I said a friend you know but don't know!!" Jessica whined and Liam rolled his eyes.

"Jess, who was that friend whom I know but don't know?"

"A male"

"What is she trying to do? Make him angry or what?!" Peter asked.

"If we knew we would have said," Soya said.

"The teacher came guys," Arni said.

Everyone stopped talking or whatever they were doing and looked at their teacher. The teacher kept his books on the table and glanced at all the students but looking at one he smirked internally.

"Do you guys have any idea when your exams are starting?"

"No, you are the teacher you should know," Liam said mocking making everyone laugh except the girls but the teacher chuckled.

"That's right but I thought someone over here knew since they have a connection and might even get the question paper," the teacher said. The class was silent "And one more thing I am taking a mock test tomorrow, so come prepared"

"No sir!!" the whole class shouted.

"Not gonna help and whatever I teach today will come for tomorrow's mock test"

"Then don't teach today and let us study," Soya said.

"How about a no?"

"Please sir!!" the whole class shouted and the teacher sighed nodding.

Everyone started studying... Well not everyone.
