Meeting with our aunt

After fifteen minutes, Jessica came back. She sat on her seat on the couch while the others looked at her.

"So? Did you find a way to contact our grandparents?!" George asked, anxiously. He wanted to contacted them for a long time but he was never able to find a way to contact them until his father had another child and even then it was hard for him to contact them because more than half of the times, his grandparents didn't even know that there was a child born again by his father.

"Yes, mom gave me their numbers and I found our aunt's office number, address, both home and work, and her husband's office number as well as his work address. Also, I found that our aunt had a child and she married a human like our father did" Jessica said everything with a proud smile on her face.

"What did you say to your mom?!" George ask.

"Don't worry. I didn't tell anything that happened today, she was just shocked to get my call at this time since I have class but I told her that our grandparents have sent a gift for me and I wanted to thank them"

"She didn't ask why you didn't ask me for their number?"

"She did but I told her that you and them don't have a good relationship"

"Smart" Lia said. George nodded "Where did you get all these information, anyways?"

"Google. I knew that she isa type of a big shot, so I searched her name and found a few things about her from google. We can visit her in the afternoon, I made an appointment"

"What does she do, though?" Arni asked.

"The google says that she is an event manager"

"And what event are we planning?" George asked.

"Your marriage with Lia. You and I will go to our aunt with an excuse that you want to propose your girlfriend and need an event manager to plan everything since you are very bad at planning and you need someone whom your girlfriend is not in contact with because all your friends are bad at keeping secrets" Jessica said.

"That's a nice idea. Why did I never thought of that?!" George said.

"Because you are dumb" Lia said and wiped her non-existing tea. George looked offended.

"You are my future wife, you shouldn't be talking like that about me"

"I am your future wife that's why I am the only one who can talk about you like that" Lia said and pecked his lips making him smile.

George looked at Jessica for a briefed explanation. Jessica could not understand the look that George gave her.

"Why are you looking at him like that?"

"Because I know that she will recognize us the moment we walk into her cabin"

"Yes, that's the plan"

"I thought we were going to plan my wedding!" George pouted. Everyone gave him a done look.

"Just take me instead of him" Lia said.

"I want to but I can't because I told them that I and my brother would be coming to set an appointment tomorrow"

"What are you guys even going to talk with them?" Max said.

"I don't know. He knows the things" Everyone looked at George who looked flabbergasted because even he didn't know what to say. He had to so many questions in his head but he couldn't even bring a word come out of his mouth. He wanted to know to know why they were doing and what they were doing, also why did they abandoned him after his mother died who knows how, only they because they were the last person she met before him.

"I don't know"

"Don't worry. We will figure it out when we reach there" Jessica said.

"Don't you think you at least prepare a few questions in advance?!" Max asked. Jessica shook her head.

"I don't think that would be needed because when we see her face, I am sure after a few minutes of awkward silence, he would know what to ask" Jessica said with another level of confidence.

"I think that confidence is not good" Lia said.

"I am sure he has questions of why did they abandoned him" Jessica said and she smirks as soon as she saw everyone's shocked expression. Her assumption was right, he was abandoned by them and even she wants to know why would they do that him, wasn't he their first grandchild/nephew?

"How did you know that?!"

"Just took a guess and seemed right. After all, if they didn't let you contact him then, there was a high chance that they abandoned him"

"Couldn't his father lied that he died with his mother? Or later?" Soya said. Everyone looked at her like she made sense which she did.

"I guess we will know everything tomorrow" Lia said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Now, what shall we do? We skipped our classes" Jessica said.

"Maybe our homework because we would have a lot of work later" Arni said. Jessica and Soya groaned but they agreed anyways. The three went to the library to study while the others stayed in the living room and continued talking about something in a low voice.
