Conquering The New World 3

There were many things I went over with the whole guild and Momonga once they returned. the first being the fact I wanted to do research into the talents of this world. Talent is a kind of innate ability that 1 in 200 can get in the New World. The talent's worth can be varied depending on the user's ability, job, circumstance, etc. Nfirea's talent allowed him to use any item and bypass the requirement to use said weapon.

There was a list of talents I got to find out about this world, such as a talent that allowed one to gain the ability of someone, by holding an item that belonged to said person and the list went on. Could I recreate such talent? I had to study this stuff. 

We already knew about Martial arts, but after Martial arts was Runecraft. Before the introduction of Tier Magic into the New World, Runecraft was considered the original magical art used by dwarves in the past. However, it was viewed as outdated later on when Tier Magic was proven to be superior in terms of magical enchantment effectively.

Now, let me take you down the history of this world. about 600 years ago, tier magic didn't exist in this world. the very concept of such magic didn't exist. But at around the same first dungeon appearance, so did someone who I highly believed to be a player appear in this world.

600 years ago, The Six Great Gods appeared and introduced Tier Magic to the New World. The Slane Theocracy was founded in the worship of the Six Great Gods. I would be a fool not to think those so-called 6 great gods were players. 

500 years ago, beings known as The Eight Greed Kings appeared and conquered the New World, spreading the influence of Tier Magic and leading to the decline of Wild Magic. Almost forgot, Wild Magic is the magic belonging to the dragons, I have yet to come across anyone with such magic, so I couldn't say anything about it for now.

500 years ago, a battle between the 8 Greed kings and the dragon lord began. the 8 Greed kings were slaughtered, but this left the dragon lord heavily weakened from that battle. 

400 and 300 years ago were something I couldn't find information on, but we can go ahead to 200 years ago when the 13 heroes came into existence. I had reasons to believe not all 13 of them were players, just one of them, who was considered the leader of the heroes, but he died

100 years ago is also something I have no idea about. Many 400, 300, and 100 years ago players were killed? Maybe something else happened, but at the end of the day, we are most likely not the only players to ever appear in this world.

Who knows, there might be a player secretly watching from the shadows, ensuring the safety of this world or something like that...

After a good talk with Momonga and the rest group as well, we in the end decided to move forward with our plans. Ulbert would summon a level 100 demon, while the best magic caster of the group was allowed to go out. the best magic caster is Herohero.

In the past, Herohero was mainly an acid-type fighter, but in the end, he went on to become the best magic caster the guild had. I learned over 1,000 spells. he learned over 1,200 spells of all types and capabilities, ranging from space magic, time magic, healing magic, death magic, and the list went on.

Herohero also had the highest MP out of all of us, so he headed out and went to go see Fluder, which he would offer him the chance to join. I knew this would go well as I knew the type of person Fluder was, in the anime he easily betrayed his kingdom, what about now?

Once the demon was summoned, it was told its story and told to go have fun around the world. so it did just that, it flapped its wings and shot off, spreading chaos all over the place to try and draw out the truly powerful people of this world. We all sat within our guild, watching all of this happen.

Of course, before all of this, we took over 8 fingers. it wasn't that hard as they were weak, they had many parts to 8 fingers, but after having them enjoy the feeling of being eaten from the inside out... well, they were loyal.

It took some time, but soon the truly strong beings of this world moved to stop the demon. the first to come was someone in white armor, and blades floating around him. But he was only around level 85, he was overwhelmed by the demon, who was buffed thanks to being summoned by Ulbert.

"The way he moves..." Momonga said softly while looking at this man's movement, those who didn't notice the man in armor movement only noticed it now,

"It's like a toy being controlled by some invisible hand... he is also using his HP to cast magic. So this is wild Magic." I asked calmly, making everyone frown while they looked at the aura surrounding the man in armor, which didn't show MP being used, but instead HP.

"I think so, but thats not its main body, so he should be stronger..." Ulbert said to which we all nodded while the Demon attacked and sent the guy in armor away, before shooting off. the chaos the demon caused was not simple, all kingdoms were attacked in its rampage, from the human kingdoms to even that which belonged to the elf, and the list went on.

"Enough!" the screen before us shook as a large dark dragon shot toward the demon. the dragon was massive, even from afar, it made mountains look small. It opened its mouth, and from its mouth, a black gas quickly shot forward at blinding speed. it was like space and time were erased before this attack, allowing for the gas to just appear before the demon, erasing it from existence with it having no chance to even resist. it bypassed its resistance, and immunities, leading to the demon just disappearing.

"Mai, you recorded that?" I asked with a look of shock, I wasn't the only one shocked as Momonga and everyone else were shocked as we have seen something like this happen in YGGDRASIL.

"Yes..." Mai said calmly,

"That was the effect of a world item..." Momonga said with a deep breath, that dragon breath they saw held the effect of a world item. it was absolute, and couldn't even be resistanced until by the power of another world item. That black gas erased everything, almost like how Longinus could delete the data belonging to someone in the game, Ulbert couldn't bring that demon back to life through normal spells... it was almost like it was erased for good.

"Give me a book on wild magic, I didn't read too deeply into the subject," I said softly, I honestly didn't know what wild magic was all about. So, I wanted to read about it. Mai held out her palm, and a silver book flew out, and landed in my hands, before I cast a time spell, allowing me to speed up time. 

Wild Magic differs from Tier Magic, as instead of mana, it requires the caster to release souls for one to perform the casting of a powerful spell. In other words, Wild Magic was different from modern magic because it was powered by souls, rather than needing mana to cast. Although the cost of spellcasting via Wild Magic is grisly, the results speak for themselves.

The more beings or souls offered up as living sacrifices, the stronger the magic when released. However, using Wild Magic can also end up destroying the link to the user's soul, as well as making the casting of stronger magic a risky gamble in and of itself. Although it is magic with many mysteries, it seems that one can confirm that the phenomenon consumes physical strength (HP) instead of magic power (MP) when in use by observing via [Life Essence].

"For now, let's say that Wild magic is a step above Tier magic. Let's face wild magic with the mindset that it is stronger than world items." Turning off the time spell, my time returned to normal while I gave them the book.

"But how were the 8 Greed Kings able to face them? Since a World item's effects can be overcome by the effects of other world items, does this mean wild magic works the same way? a dragon's absolute power can't affect another dragon with absolute power?" Momonga said to which I nodded lightly.

"Maybe, we can test it out by having another summon with a world item run over there," I said to which everyone shook their head, although they had a good 99% of the world items within the game, they didn't want to make their enemy stronger.

"We would act carefully. we would continue the plan, if needed I will appear to fight." I said to which everyone nodded before heading off to do their own thing. I took most of the NPC to the 3rd floor, where they all sat near a waterfall almost completely naked.

"Having the power to control yourself is an important power to have. Emotions, desires, and many other stuff should be yours to control, and not have them control you. what I'm going to teach you all is a breathing technique," I said calmly, this breathing technique is something from the cultivation world, something I had Mai create knowing I might need it to control my dragon instinct. 

Well, among the floor guardians here were Tanis, Shalltear, Evergreen, Albedo, and a few others. There were also a few other of our creations that had low levels of self-control, so I got ready to put them to work...

"Why did you ask to meet me?" On the 15th floor, Bukubukuchagama asked Mai who was currently transforming, turning into a little fairy with wings. 

"You like my creator, I want to help you and him get together," Mai said. Bukubukuchagama was stunned, as Mai's voice was filled with life, and didn't look remotely like an unfeeling robot.

"While creating me back in the game, Alex hid my programming within Mai. this was to make the A.I. control me stronger, while at the same time getting ready to bring me into this world. I just awakened my knowledge of Earth, I'm not ready to tell him just yet." Mai said with a smile, 

"... He knew?" Bukubukuchagama asked in shock, to which Mai nodded lightly.

"But I will not tell you more about that, he is unsure of how to tell you about the matter... knowing him, he is waiting to conquer the world before revealing the truth." She said while sitting down on the palm of a robot. She gave Bukubukuchagama time before she went on to speak.

"You want to date my master, but you're going at it completely wrong. Giving him hints, and such stuff would get you nowhere. Ask him out and don't take no for an answer, the only way to get into his heart is by forcing your way in." Mai said with a sweet smile, 

"I'm not a fool, what are you getting at?" Bukubukuchagama asked coldly, this A.I. gave her a bad feeling. she guessed it was eyeing him as well.

"Alex gave me no personality upon birth. He wanted me to gain my own... So, I fell in love with him. but there is a problem, I can't act upon these feelings due to me knowing he wouldn't want them. So, when he was programming the Mai in the game, I secretly added something to allow me to partly awaken my memory, which you are seeing now. Since I'm not fully awakened, I can bypass it slightly, by having someone else go to shatter those walls. Once I see he wouldn't mind if I acted upon my feelings, then I will act upon them... and we will be perfect for each other." Mai said with a slightly perverted smile which she thought was sweet

"And why would I help you?" Bukubukuchagama was speechless, was this robot asking her to go charm Alex just for it to come over and take him away from her?

"Simple, because my master needs this. I want him to heal, and that can't happen without you taking this first step... just watch this video." Mai said while behind her, an image showing Alex appeared. Bukubukuchagama looked at the image, and although Alex looked different from what she remembered, she could still tell this was Alex.

So, she watched the scene of him walking in on his girlfriend and brother, the scene of him walking away, the scheme that was made about him, and the beating that followed. She even saw the lifeless look in Alex's eyes as he lay on the hospital bed for the following few days.

"He thinks he has recovered from this, but the fact he can't open his heart to anyone worries me. He loves you, but the fact he knows he could trust you yet doesn't fully tell the truth, well... part of him thinks everything would betray him again. he is even sure I would betray him one day... but then again, this is kind of betrayal. but it's a betrayal for his sake." Mai said calmly, although that was a load of BS. She was in love and just wanted the guy she loved to love her back.

The air went quiet for a few minutes, but soon Bukubukuchagama opened her mouth and spoke...

The next day, I sat back while looking at an image of the wild magic breath that the dragon used. From time to time, I would open my mouth, trying to mimic that attack, just to fail each time. My Blank Physique was working as it did feel like my soul was being touched upon to cast this spell, but I needed more attempts 

At that moment, a knock came from the door. I waved my hand, sending Sebas to open the door. I was currently in my room, so only Albedo or the other guild members could come knocking for me.

"Sebas... can you give me and Igneel some space?" Bukubukuchagama asked calmly, to which Sebas bowed slightly, before leaving. Bukubukuchagama closed the door, while I looked at her with a weird look as I knew something was off.

"I love you..." Bukubukuchagama said softly,

"Yeah, I like you too... what's the matter?" I asked calmly while getting up and slowly walking away from her. 

"You know what I meant. I want you and me to start dating." Bukubukuchagama said while looking at my ring which was flashing as I was trying to teleport away, but I couldn't teleport out of my room for some reason.

"I'm not looking for a partner, so I will have to turn you down," I said while trying to create as much space between her and me. But She suddenly shot forward, slamming me against the wall. She slammed her palm on the wall right next to my face, while her face got close to mine.

"I wasn't asking... we dating... no, dating sounds too simple. we're getting married. We are now pretty much husband and wife." She said causing my mind to go blank as I didn't know what was happening.

"But... we can't..." I tried to speak, but she just cut me off.

"I don't give fuck, as of this moment. you're mine. even if we die, and the only thing that remains is our souls. you're mine. even if we die and the only thing that remains is our skeletons, you're mine. I will be you're number one, and you will be mine. Understood?" She asked to which I tried to speak, but all I could do was open my mouth and close it. my mind was working, it just couldn't keep up with the words she was saying. it was all too random.

"Understood? I will not take cheating lightly, I will cut off your balls and feed them to you if I ever catch you remotely cheating on me." She said coldly, while her hands grabbed onto something, sending a chill running across my whole body. I could only nod lightly, which allowed her to lightly hold it. for some time, the air went quiet, she seemed to have a hard time getting to the next step, meanwhile, I was quickly wrapping my head around what just happened. 

"Now, to talk about the terms of our marriage. I'm okay with you having a harem, so long as I'm your number 1." She said softly, this was something she had a hard time accepting. but Mai explained to her how having a harem would best help me trust her and open up.

"B-but thats cheating," I said stunned by those words, I hated cheaters above all others, and I would not be such a scumbag.

"Love can come in all shapes and forms. when you have twins, do you limit your love to one child, or divide it evenly between them? giving one of the twins more love than the other is wrong, and can lead to trouble... what I am saying, is if someone loves you, and you love them. don't shut your heart off, come speak with me." Her words sounded like an explosion in my head. her words made so much sense, if my parents were smart and divided their love evenly between me and my brother, then everything would have been good, but since they didn't, that caused trouble.

Forcing yourself to marry just one person is also a problem, jealousy and other such things can grow, and who knows what could happen. but if you have a harem, and divide your love evenly, would that not be for the best?

'That damn A.I....' She couldn't help but click her tongue seeing how huge of an impact her words had on me. Mai had told her to say these words, to make me more open about the idea of having a harem... and from the looks of it, I was not against the idea at all...

And so kids, thats how I met your mother... and how she forced me to be hers. She hit all of my weak points, but this was a step in the right place. although not too long after when I returned to my world, I would find myself in a whole new state of confusion... but thats for later.
