Best friends

We were friends like forever. He lived right nextdoor to me. We basically did everything together. Kyle was very smart and handsome. All the girls at school was crazy over him. He was like a God. But something felt a bit strange about the Jackson family. Kyle will rather spend most of his time at my house. Which I didn't mind because he helped me out with my homework alot. And if I make a joke about going to his house he will come up with some excuse. I've been over at his house probably three times in my life, and we are almost fifteen years old. But I didn't pay it no mind. Kyle was the most caring and loving boy I know. He always know what to say at times. One thing I noticed about him is that his hair grows back very fast. I just thought of it as going through puberty.kids will call him names like "Mr werewolf" or "bigfoot". But he didn't payed them no mind. That was one thing I liked about him. He never let anyone to upset him. But only the boys tease him, and I think it's because they were jealous of him. Kyle just know how to deal with people so he doesn't even bother answering back. One Saturday afternoon while I was doing my chores Kyle came over. He helped me with my chores. I offered him a slice of cherry pie that my mom just baked. He ate it quickly and told me he has something for me. When I finished my chores we went to the lake where we go every Saturday since we were like six years old. Kyle had made a swing on one if the trees by the lake. We talk for a while as I swung and enjoy the breeze pass through my hair. Suddenly he takes a little bag out of his pockets, and handed me it. It was a necklace with a half of heart with bf written in front. It was beautiful. He had the other half with f written on it. So people will know for sure that we are best friends forever. Kyle was such a sweetheart. But I noticed that something was wrong, but he didn't want to talk about it. So we left to go home. Our walk home was so silent that it was very strange because Kyle always have something to talk about. When we arrive home his parents were outside with my mom. Good evening Mr and Mrs Jackson I said in a mannerly tone. Good evening Joy said his parents. "We were just planning for Kyle's birthday party" said his mom excited. "Come on mom, I told you already I don't want a party for my birthday". But Mrs Jackson paid him no mind. I thought to myself "could it be that's the reason why he was so quiet on our way back home?" Three weeks past and today is Kyle fifteenth birthday. I bought him friendship bracelets to match our necklace. I went over to his house to wish him a happy birthday and to give him the gift I bought. But Kyle was not himself that day. He insisted that he didn't want a party but his mom doesn't take NO for an answer. "Come on Kyle it's your day enjoy it " I said. "Oh Joy I really didn't want a party but my mom is so stubborn". He said angrily. "Thanks for the gift by the way joy ". And I left and went back home. A few hours later I received a message from Kyle saying to meet him outside, he has something to tell me. I went downstairs to meet him and he was looking sad."Hey joy, can I talk to you for a minute?" Asked Kyle. " No problem what's up". "I've been thinking for weeks about how I'm gonna say this". "We are moving to New York in the beginning of summer". I stood there in disbelief. I felt my eyes burning from the tears I was trying to hold back. "What!" Is shouted loudly. "Kyle please tell me it's a prank". "Tell me you are not leaving me". U couldn't hold back the tears no more. I was angry and sad at the same time. I just ran inside and went up to my room. I couldn't believe it, my best friend is going to leave him behind. What if he finds someone else to replace me? I cried for over two hours. "Joy it's time to get ready for Kyle's birthday party " , said my mom. " Ok mom". But deep down inside I really didn't want to go anymore.
