Chapter 1

My name is Winter Calidova, my mother Lillian gave birth to me and my father Gerold was my maker. I am mixed with black and Asian, I was born in America but soon moved to Asia to be closer to my moms family after she passed away.

It was really hard to move on not only to an different continent but to a new life, my father and I had a ok relationship..we knew our boundaries and the things that brings us together. I went to school in Country X and graduated from the top college on a full ride!

I was 24 now and just entering the real world, I always dreamed of opening my own clothing line inspired by my mother and her favorite flowers the Lily. After I had graduated I was offered a job at the most prestigious billion dollar clothing business in all the world...due to my appearance people would think lowly of me because I was different. I had long black curly hair, beautiful hazel skin that shined like pearls, and red eyes!

Due to my red eyes people would question if I was really human and of course I was I mean anything other than humans don't exist *so I thought*. It was my first day on the job and I had just gotten my own place after moving out of my dads, I still visit time to time. As I walked into Glorianna Inc. I was amazed of all the celebrities, colors, and clothes that were blooming just from the entrance. (What I didn't know was there was a wild surprise waiting for me)

Jospeh Xie was a very handsome man he inherited Gloriannas after his mom handed it down to him. He was tall with broad shoulders, long black raven hair, light brown eyes, and milky white skin. The only thing that made him more attractive was his cold but soft aura, he was expecting a new intern for the day after running through six of them in 3 days. The reason for this was because they either fell for him or never did the job right.

When the new intern had exited out of the elevator he was sure that this was going to be another intern he'll need to throw away. As Winter entered through the door Joseph breath was taken away by this alluring creature who was so different than any woman he had seen and trust, he has seen plenty. As she walked towards him Joseph didn't realize that he held his breath the whole time she was approaching him.
