"Woke up yet?" Lucas Griffin raised his hand to tuck her messy hair behind her ear.
"Mm."
"How did you sleep last night?"
His knuckles brushed against her cheek, bringing a blush to Amanda Jenkins as those embarrassingly vivid images from last night suddenly flashed through her mind.
She turned her face away slightly, "It was okay."
"Your complexion is rosy," he pinched her cheek lightly, "it seems you were well nourished by me last night."
Amanda Jenkins frowned slightly, glaring at him.
Seeing the redness spread to her ears, he laughed heartily, pinched her chin, "So shy."
Amanda Jenkins swatted his hand away, brows furrowed, "What were you up to?"
"Miss me already after such a short while?" He enjoyed seeing her blush; it was quite amusing.
"No!" She denied outright.
"Lying. I clearly saw you anxiously looking for me just now." He drew her into his embrace, "Don't worry, I won't leave you again. I just wanted to make breakfast for you myself."
