Clark stood for a moment to watch his partner shakily walk away.
"TSK" He clicked his tongue in disgust, "If it wasn't for him being the boss's son, I'd finish him off right now, you worthless bastard."
On the other side of the wall, Arthur White was still hiding as he listened to the conversations of the intruders on the other side.
For some reason, he felt no fear for the situation, in fact, he felt humiliated, why would he be hiding while two strangers just invaded his home by force? And even worse, they were talking about "Having fun" with his ex, whom he still loved as much as his first day with her.
He didn't like this feeling, quickly all the humiliation turned into rage, why did he have to hide from this trash? His feelings were getting out of control, but he could no longer take a step back, he had to swallow his anger. He would end this in one blow as soon as he got the chance.
'Wait! Because I have to fight, I should stay hidden, let it happen, and run away from them, that would be the logical thing to do... Right?'
*Tap*
*Tap*
Some footsteps that sounded loud and seemed to be the footsteps of a giant were heard slowly approaching from the other side of the wall, interrupting Arthur's thoughts.
'It's coming.' He thought. Adrenaline slowly took over his body making the moment the enemy revealed itself through the door, he watched it slowly pass by, as if the world had gone into slow motion.
On the other hand, Clark walked calmly as if he were at home, after all, there was no chance of anyone being inside.
They had investigated for several days, and the last people who had been in the house had left three days ago and never returned, it was the perfect target to take a first-timer.
After walking a few yards without looking back, Clark stopped to look at the luxurious kitchen in front of him.
There was a counter in the middle of the kitchen, and to his right, a door to another room which he planned to head straight there after a bit of looking around, after all, as fancy as the kitchen was, not much could be taken out of there, the more valuable items should be in other rooms he thought.
Meanwhile, Arthur was behind still watching the big guy who had just broken into his house, seeing him, his head reminded him of the big bears he used to see in the zoos of his city.
However, he didn't feel any kind of fear, instead, he felt excited, even knowing that because of the size difference, it would be almost impossible to defeat him, he needed to fight him.
With his eyes full of determination, he decided to slowly approach him from behind, to finish him off with one blow, although he wanted to fight him, there was another person who would arrive quickly because of the fuss, putting him in a two against one which he would not be sure to win, after all fighting against the person in front of him would already be too difficult.
Arthur positioned himself right behind the man, who was more than a head taller than him, and with a smile on his face, he hit the man's head by surprise with all his strength.
The blow could end with any normal person who received it, however, the weight difference was abysmal, Arthur had never fought against someone with such a weight difference, after all, the fights he had in the years he practiced martial arts, were arranged and would never put him against an opponent with such a large weight difference, it would be a one-sided fight in favor of his opponent.
Disregarding this Arthur lowered his guard then his sneak attack, as he saw his enemy slowly fall, 'is over.' he thought.
But he would never expect that, in the middle of his fall, the man stretched out one of his hands and stopped his fall by holding onto the counter in front of him.
"Oh!" he shouted angrily before quickly spinning backward and slamming a punch into Arthur's stomach, knocking him back several steps into the hallway behind him.
Amid his confusion, Arthur could see the beast in front of him lunge directly at him at full speed intending to tackle him, however, he was too close and dazed from the previous blow to dodge it.
Soon, the man crashed into Arthur, lifting him, walking several steps, and slamming him into the tables and chairs in the other room breaking them on impact.
"AAAGH!" Pain spread throughout his body from his back. He could feel that several ribs had been broken by the impact.
Clark quickly pinned him to the ground and began to laugh out loud "Hehehe... Look who we have here. Arthur White himself. Who would have thought... Now the dead come back to life too."
Hearing the bandit's words, Arthur couldn't help but be curious, 'The dead come back to life?' He didn't understand what he was referring to.
*COUGH*
*COUGH*
The moment he tried to speak, he felt blood pooling in his throat and began to cough.
"Hahaha." Seeing Arthur's state, Clark let out a small laugh and then yelled to call out to his partner "NOAAH! Get over here right now, you fucking scaredy-cat!"
Noah's head quickly popped up, all this time hiding behind a door that led to another room.
"Get your ass in here, you fucking scaredy-cat."
"Y-y- ss-if y-you s-let go?" Noah sheepishly blurted from the doorway.
*Tsk*
Clark clicked his tongue in disgust and shouted impatiently, "Come here!"
Noah's body suddenly tensed, and he replied as if he had an automatic response to commands, "Yes!" as he trembled with fear.
*Cough
*Cough*
"What are you looking for, money? You can take whatever items you want, but you won't find much. I already spent it all." Arthur spoke with difficulty, blood was trickling down his lips, and his arm was probably broken as well as several of his ribs, he was enduring a lot of pain.
"If you think you'll get out of here with just a few punches, you're very wrong... That punch you gave me hurt me you know... I'm upset." Clark's smile turned terrifying.
"If it were up to me, I'd torture you to exhaustion, starting with your fingernails. I'd slowly work my way up until you beg me to kill you out of pity, hahaha."
Arthur swallowed hard, at this moment, he realized that he probably wouldn't get out of this situation.
Suddenly, Clark's smile faded as if he had remembered something upsetting. "However, you... my little friend, you're in luck... I've come here for the purpose of taking care of a child, a little boy who is about to take his first steps." Clark stretched out one of his arms, palm open, pointing it at Noah who was already standing next to him, with the gun he handed him being held, with both hands.
Seeing Clark point one of his arms at him, Noah trembled noticeably.
"Noah, point it at him..."
"Huh?"
"POINT IT AT HIM, YOU USELESS FUCK!"
'Wait, wait, wait.' Arthur, he couldn't keep his mouth shut, they were about to point a gun at him, and from what the person in front of him was saying, they might end up murdering him just to teach a rookie the 'trade'.
'Is there a more pitiful death? I definitely can't die this way!' Several thoughts were going through Arthur's head at this moment.
[System initiated]
'Huh?!' Suddenly, small luminous particles of a greenish color started to come out of nowhere each particle was quickly coming together, forming letters in front of his eyes despite being clearly visible, they were also transparent, so they didn't interrupt Arthur's vision at all.
'System?'
As soon as Arthur read what was in front of him, the particles spread out in various directions and then formed again, but this time, they contained much more information.

Title: Cursed Slave. s
'Cursed Slave?' Suddenly, he remembered the moment the strange girl had, 'Played' with him in that strange place 'Am I still dreaming?'
"What are you waiting for you useless fucker, I'm handing you a golden opportunity on other occasions you won't have such an easy victim to assassinate... didn't you want to be useful?"
"Shoot the fuck out of here!"
The continuous shouts of the people in front of him woke him up again from his daze.
'What does it matter if it's a dream, the pain I'm feeling right now feels very real, and I'm not willing to die to prove it.'
Arthur's eyes filled with determination. Still lying on the floor, he began to plan a way out of this situation on his own, with the help of that strange system that had appeared in front of him.
