Cindy's curiosity was at its peak as the mysterious figure stepped into the light, revealing a familiar face. Her surprise quickly turned into playful exasperation.
"Benjamin Clarke, you drama queen," Cindy said with a laugh. "I should have known Nova would pull something like this."
Benjamin Clarke, the popular actor and long-time friend, grinned widely. "Surprise! Did you miss me?"
Cindy rolled her eyes but couldn't help laughing. "You've been filming outside the country for months! I didn't expect to see you here at all."
Benjamin spread his arms wide in a mock dramatic gesture. "Anything for my friends. Plus, I couldn't pass up the chance to see you two."
Nova chuckled, clearly pleased with herself. "I thought it would be fun to surprise you. Besides, Ben was the one who recommended me to you as your designer, remember?"
"Of course, I remember. And I'm so grateful he did. You've been amazing, Nova," Cindy said with a warm smile.
