Henry shuffled my hair and went away right before my father passed by me, with his arms crossed.

"What's the matter, father?" I asked worried, he was fixed on Henry.

"Don't go near that boy!" he said before walking to the car with Liam.

'What's the problem with being his friend?' I was really confused about my father's reaction and I was going to find out why I couldn't be with Henry.

At home, my father was talking with Sam and I decided to

overhear their chat.

"He can't be with Henry, he is from our pack."

"And what's the problem with that?" Adam asked, confused.

"It must be one of the father's plans."

"Relax Julian." my mother said, hugging them both "I am sure that everything is going to be fine. Right, Dave?"

He asked looking to where I was but I didn't move, I was unsure if he did really see me.

"You knew that he was there?" Julian asked alarmed and I run to my bedroom.

Before I could open the door I heard my brother talking with someone.

"It isn't time for me to mate. You know that I am still underage." I smiled and then reality struck me. 'I am not being overprotective?!'

"What's the matter, dear?" My mother asked, touching my shoulder "You shouldn't hear behind walls, it isn't correct."

"I know, but... but..."

He hugged me and we both went to my bedroom where he tried to explain why I couldn't be with Henry and when he talked about his past I was in shock.

"I know that it's hard to believe but..."

"Henry is my friend, I will not stop talking to him."

"I am not asking to stop talking with him, I just want to say to be aware of everything he does."

My heart was in pain if what mother says it's true I should be scared, even more, when he talks about omegas that way, but I want to be sure that isn't true.

When I was alone, my body started to get heated when I remembered when Henry touch me and I put my hands on my face, rolling on the bed, I never felt like this in my life.

I couldn't sleep, even if I tried to not remember Henry he was always in my head, and after a while, I couldn't sleep at all so I decided to search youtube and one video took my attention.

"My fated mate is a beta." I couldn't believe what I was reading, my heart was beating fast and with my trembled hands I clicked the video and I ended up falling asleep while watching it.

On the next day, I couldn't move and my body was hurting all over as if I was in heat.

"How much time are you..." I heard my brother but then he gasped and started to scream mom's name.

Even if I tried to explain, my mom didn't listen to me and now I am in the hospital, waiting for the results.

I smiled and walked away, my mom was already near the car, he was screaming with someone.

"He is here. We talk later Julian."

The trip home was silent, neither of us wanted to talk about what just happened. I was still processing everything in my head, was Henry really my fated mate? But if this is all a myth?

When we were near home, I saw a guy with a hoddie, near Henry's car, in front of my house.

'It is probably Henry. But what is he doing here?'

I walked pass the guy and I fell on my knees with my hand on the mouth before I pass out.

"So is true." I heard Henry say from afar "Can I be with him, then? I won't tell my alpha."

"If you hurt him..." Started Julian but then I heard a slap and I laugh.

"Is he awake? Can I see him?" Henry asked, but my mother refused. "I know that is a selfish request but can I stay a little near the door? I am worried.

"I know... I know..." he shouted and after I heard a thump on the door he spoke to me 'Did your mother forget about the link?'

'No!' I answered, smiling and hugging the hoodie that I just saw that was next to me 'My brother can read your mind, stupid.'

'Oh... I don't care.' he stated 'He will ruin his innocence.'

'I think he has less than me!' I said 'After all, he is an omega with a mate.' the last words hurt for some reason.
