Chapter 06 : A smile from shadow..

As they walked, they were both silent. Alexander remained silent and didn't look like he wanted to talk, but he still held Laura's hand and didn't want to let go one bit.

Meanwhile laura.. she started to feel awkward.

Even so, the two of them didn't realize that right now… they were being watched.

As long as he held Laura's hand, for some reason.. he felt that he had done that before. A feeling where he could feel calm when the situation was chaotic at that time. But that feeling...

Somehow it felt like a fog that was difficult for him to reach.

Laura who was about to try to call his name alone made her look awkward. Funny thing is, alexander even looked at laura. That made it even more awkward.

Suddenly Alexander pulled Laura into his arms and subconsciously gave it a kick to her left.

Laura was immediately shocked because what Alexander kicked turned out to be a man with a knife. Whether coincidentally or not, the man was knocked unconscious by the force of the kick.

Without wasting time, Alexander took Laura away from the place.

Judging from the situation, it seemed that it was already getting unsafe.

And it turned out to be true. The two of them were obstructed by several people.

"Hey, bro! You better leave that girl behind. Otherwise, we won't hesitate to kill you."

Even though they threatened while carrying knives and baseball bats, Alexander remained silent. Instead, he herded Laura to be behind him.

When one of them attacked, Alexander suddenly counter attack. Alexander's attacks were so fast and sharp that it was hard to see and know his next attack.

"Take that!"

Unfortunately, that move was read by Alexander. He blocked the knife attack with just the grip of his right hand. It was so strong that it made his hands bleed but he couldn't just grab it. And while off guard, he punched with his left hand. After the opponent fell down weakly, he suddenly held Laura's hand and they ran back.

They kept running away as best they could. No one knows when there will be another attack, or when Alexander will survive.

Until..

"Alexander! Is that you?"

A police car suddenly approached them both. The funny thing is, the atmosphere that was initially tense now starts to feel quiet.

Not only that, in the police car..

"You're not usually out at night. Especially with a pretty girl."

A blonde haired man suddenly came out of the police car, and he looked like he was teasing Alexander as if he looked familiar.

Somehow, that made Laura immediately hide behind Alexander because she looked a little embarrassed.

"Ah! I'm sorry, lady. You must be scared of me, huh! Maybe it was an unexpected encounter. It seems I'm starting to understand why my nephew won't let go of his hand one bit. He even stays quiet even when I tease him."

Even though he said that while laughing, unfortunately Laura was still confused and afraid to look at the police. She even hid in Alexander's arms.

"Calm down, lady! You don't need to be afraid. Let me introduce myself first. My name is Nathaniel G. Lyxia. Thank you for getting along with my nephew. Otherwise, how could my nephew's hand get hurt for no good reason."

Laura looked speechless. But on the other hand, she saw Alexander who was still silent regardless of his wound.

On the other hand, Nathaniel, who was secretly looking at the two of them in the windshield, could only smile.

For him, maybe this could be a good start. Especially how it might change lives for Alexander and others.

"I see! I can't believed it, their ridiculous actions have paid off. It's good that they couldn't kill him. Looks like 10 years ago has repeated itself. After all, he is the pet that I have created. My best pet."

Suddenly he threw his knife at a photo. Even though it was quite dark, the shot was right on target.

There, apart from the photos.. there was also an article that was torn and pasted on. Unfortunately, it can't be seen clearly.

"You all better keep an eye on him. It will be really bad if those rookies bother him again. Don't let anyone or any other group take him away from me. If necessary, find out who or whatever it is. Do it now!"
