"I thought Mistress Sly was not hostile towards us?" Ivayne asked as she threw the last of the unconcious asssilants into a corner of the inn's basement.
"She isn't." Pika asnwered while handling some chains. "These aren't her men."
Ivayne dusted her palms as she probed; "No? If not, then…"
The skeleton leaned on a pillar and said; "I don't know."
Ivayne frowned and stared at the blood splattered all over Pika's dress as she asked; "But were you not with his Majesty when he carried out the interrogation?"
Pika shook her head and informed; "Interrogation? Could you even call it that? There was no such thing."
Pika glanced at the unconcious assailants-turned-captives with a complex look in her eyes that made it seem like she was recalling something horrific yet equally satisfying.
