Restlessness

Du Lixin heaved a deep sigh and liked down then mumbled to himself. "It's just a handshake, nothing much." He picked up his phone and dialed Xiao Li's number.

With just two rings, she picked up the call.

"Hello Du Lixin?"

"Where are you now?"

"I'm at the cafe with Ku Shuchang, the course mate I told you I'll be having lunch with today."

Du Lixin sighed when she didn't lie. "Okay remember to go back early so you can rest early for tomorrow and call me when you get back. Remember no contact."

"Okay bye."

"Bye."

He hung up and turned to Uncle Su. "Let's go to the company, I am now rest assured."

Uncle Su started the car and spoke as he was driving. "I thought you'd go meet her there."

"If I just meet her suddenly, three thoughts would cross her mind. I don't trust her, I'm too possessive and too jealous. And I don't want her to have those thoughts mostly at the early stage of our marriage."

"Okay Young Master, that was a clever thing to do."

"Mm."

Uncle Su smiled as he drove off.

Du Lixin got to the company and was welcomed by his secretary with a meeting reminder.

"Mr Du you have a meeting in five minutes with Mr Lee and his secretary."

Du Lixin adjusted his suit and said as they entered his office. "Why am I having a meeting with Mr Lee?"

"Sir you both agreed to have a meeting today, to talk about the production is the medical wrist band."

Du Lixin sighed rubbing his temples. "Ok I remember, is everything ready?"

"Yes." The secretary gathered the courage to ask. "Sir is everything alright?, you've never forgotten about meetings for the past six years I've been working with you."

Du Lixin sighed as he gave a file to Su Junfeng. "I saw something that made me restless today."

"Sir may I ask what that is?"

Du Lixin was already getting irritated with his questions and answered coldly. "No you may not. Let's go, five minutes is almost up."

They got to the meeting room and saw Mr Lee and his secretary waiting.

When Mr Lee saw them entering the room, he immediately stood up to greet. "Mr Du good...."

But was interrupted by Du Lixin. "Let's get to what we came here for."

Mr Lee adjusted his suit and sat down feeling embarrassed. "Hmm okay." He gestured to his secretary to bring out the business proposal file. Mr Lee took it from his secretary and placed it in front of Du Lixin.

Du Lixin took the file and scanned through it the dropped it back on the desk. "No."

Mr Lee asked in confusion. " Mr Du what do you mean by no?"

"I won't accept this, this product of yours doesn't have the features to attract customers. Go back and do some research on it before bringing it to me."
