The manager held his phone and dialed his boss's number with shaking hands.

Xiao Li was feeling sorry for him.

"What? sacked?, what did he do?"

"He dares to treat my wife wrongly and called her a poor beggar. By the next time I come here, I don't want to see him here or else you wouldn't want to experience what am capable of."

Du Lixin immediately hung up and gave the phone back to the manager.

The manager left in tears as the customers watched in shock.

Du Lixin turned towards the customers. "If anyone bullies my wife again, the consequences won't be nice." Then he turned to Xiao Li. "Sweetheart let's eat somewhere else. Mm?"

Xiao Li was really hungry and don't think she'd be able to survive the next five minutes if she doesn't eat. "Let's just eat here."

"But...." Du Lixin pursed when he heard her stomach grumbling. "Seems like my baby is really hungry, let's just eat here."

Du Lixin called a waitress and gave Xiao Li the menu. "Sweetheart we'll eat whatever you want."

Xiao Li looked through the menu as her eyes widened. The foods on the menu were hundreds of thousands of Yuan and the expensive dish there is a million Yuan.

Du Lixin stared at her cute face with a slight smile on his face. He smiled at the way she looked at the menu with widened eyes which made her big eyes even bigger.

He couldn't believe this little girl made him feel like a human again after thirteen years.

He could finally smile and feel emotions even if it was to just one person, it was enough for him.

He has waited for this day to come all his life and now it's here.

He could never let this by pass him.

He would cherish this girl forever.

Although he has never had the feeling of love but he will try to love this girl and win her heart too.

Xiao Li finally made up her mind and chose Spring rolls. Although it was hundred of thousands of Yuan, at least it was the cheapest. "I'll take spring rolls."

The waitress was shocked.
