"I'll give you guys a minute to think about this, you can make your decision till then," Haru waited for a minute as his group gathered near him in order to protect him, in case a fight does break out.
In the end...
"Is it really ok to let Gong Pil-du go?" Dok-ja asked since it could be bad letting this guy and his group free as they know a lot about them, well not really a lot but it could be troublesome.
'I know why Pil-du wanted to leave quickly but even then, it is a huge loss,' Dok-ja thought as Haru answered.
"Well, there is no point in keeping them around as well, the problems they'll cause while being outside will be lesser than the ones they'll cause inside," Haru knew this was the perfect time to get rid of the bad apples that'll spoil the basket if left as is.
Even if he does have control over them through the flag...
'I won't be here for long after this scenario starts and having to deal with them will leave a bad atmosphere around the station,' Haru thought as this Scenario was a great piece that was painting the picture for the future scenarios.
'It looks like Haru figured it out,' Dok-ja also felt like this was a good move but this could've been solved if he had a little more say in the situation.
'But no point thinking about it, and it is not like our current line-up is something to scoff at, But there is still one problem,' Dok-ja thought as he looked at the big problem standing a few feet away from them.
"You're not leaving?" Haru asked the problem Aka Jung-hyuk who was staring at the flag in Haru's hand.
"I am planning to, But before that, I need to say something to her," Jung-hyuk pointed at Queresha who was standing a little behind Haru.
"Oh, If it is something like a confession, I'd advise against doing that, It won't end well for you," Haru said making Hee-won grin mischievously.
"Look at this guy being so possessive, You wouldn't really expect that from him," Hee-won laughed slowly as Jin-ah and Alea shook their heads.
'It isn't about Haru being possessive, it is just that any man who had confessed to Queresha Unnie had been left in tears because of her honest response,' Jin-ah had witnessed it once, Although that guy was a little persistent, she felt really sorry for the guy as he went back crying, he was roasted to the point of doubting his own existence.
But to others, it will really look like Haru was marking his territory. It was the same for the Constellations…
[The Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' is wiggling his eyebrows.]
[100 Coins have been sponsored.]
[The Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' is saying 'Yeah Boi']
[200 Coins have been sponsored.]
[The Constellation 'The One Who Hates Food' is a little too happy.]
[400 Coins have been Sponsored.]
[The Constellation 'The One Who Hates Food' has left the channel.]
Jung-hyuk looked at Haru blankly for a second before he turned to Queresha.
"I'll pay you back with interest," Jung-hyuk said as Queresha didn't even look at him, it was like she wasn't even the least bit interested in it.
"Unnies it looks like this is where we part," Ji-hye looked a little emotional looking at Jin-ah, Alea, Hee-won, Sang-ah, and Queresha since it was fully certain that Jung-hyuk was planning on leaving.
"You will be staying here with Dok-ja," Jung-hyuk said looking at Dok-ja making sure he understands.
'He only treats me like a companion when it is beneficial to him,' Dok-ja complained in his mind but he was quite happy to have Ji-hye as a helper.
[The Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is intrigued by this move.]
[300 coins have been sponsored.]
[The Constellation 'Demonic Judge of Fire' is overjoyed by the trust between Companions.]
[400 coins have been sponsored.]
Dok-ja could only sigh looking at these messages.
"Well, Bye," Haru waved at Jung-hyuk as his surroundings changed and he saw the tracks in front of him, turning back he could see Haru waving at him from the stairs with the others as well.
Jung-hyuk just turned around without saying anything and left the station under a dumbfounded Ji-hye.
"Looks like we'll have you around for longer," Jin-ah patted Ji-hye back.
"Ahjusshi take care of me alright, I am just a weak little girl," Ji-hye looked at Dok-ja with a smile as she recovered quickly.
'Your strength stat is higher than mine!!' Dok-ja's eyes twitched as he looked at Ji-hye, But even then he smiled since this would be beneficial for him.
"Yeah, But you shoul-" But before Dok-ja could say anything further.
"I got it thank you so much, Unnie I am staying let's party," Ji-hye said and ran towards Hee-won and the others leaving Dok-ja on hold.
'Listen to what I have to say!!' Tick marks appeared on Dok-ja's forehead but his smile didn't falter, he quickly moved on to the next thought as he knew that Ji-hye was being annoying on purpose.
'It seems like Jung-hyuk also has the same plan as me,' Dok-ja thought as he looked at the timer in the air, he may have the same plan as Jung-hyuk but he didn't have the skills and stats to pull it off, so he was going to do things the way he can.
Five minutes had passed and system messages popped up once again.
[The sub-scenario has ended.]
[You have earned 1,000 coins as compensation.]
[The white flag will show its true effects to the Chungmuro representative.]
[Current Group: 336 people.]
The only people who had left were the Landlord coalition and Jung-hyuk. Even then there were a lot of people left as the others chose to stay here.
[Your reputation is still too weak to gain the title of king.]
'So, I need to increase my reputation to get the title of king? I can guess a few ways this scenario is going to end,' Haru looked at the white flag as more panels showed up in front of him.
[You have gained control of the Chungmuro Group through the effect of the white flag.]
[You can punish a group member who goes against you.]
'So, I can punish the people who left as well. No point in wasting time on them right now,' Haru thought as he looked up and Bi-hyung who didn't have a good look on his face.
[Well, that was anti-climactic ...Anyway here is your scenario,] Bi-hyung seemed salty that there was no battle for the flag which would make it interesting for the constellations. But seeing that it didn't happen he just went ahead with the scenario.
[The fourth main scenario is activated!]
[Main Scenario #4 – Struggle for the Flag]
Category: Main
Difficulty: C
Clear Conditions:
1. Every station has a 'flag' and 'flagpole' that can be occupied.
* The flag can only be carried by the 'representative' of the station.
2. You need to protect the flag from other station groups. If a flag is taken away by another group, the losing group will be taken over by the group that occupied the flag.
3. You can put a 'flag' in the 'flagpole' of another station. The authority of the flag is only for the 'representative' of each station. Once the representative dies in an armed conflict, the authority of the representative is transferred to the person who holds the flag first. If you take the 'flag' of another station group, the treatment of the group deprived of the flag is determined by the group that took the flag.
4. You must occupy the 'flagpole' of the 'target station' within a certain time limit. Failure to do so will result in the death of all group members.
5. The target station your group should occupy is Chang-shin Station.
Time Limit: 12 days.
Compensation: 2,000 coins.
Failure: ???
It took everyone a while to read the scenario details because of how long they were, it was too long to the point that Ji-hye and Hee-won grumbled about having to read so much.
"If I read this much back at school I would've topped my class," Ji-hye sighed after reading the whole thing.
"Should've just cut to the chase, 'Defend your flagpole and plant your flag in other stations to win' way to make this hard for no reason," Hee-won complained but for the time being it seemed that everyone had understood what was going on.
