   ~My second chance mate is the hybrid king~

   ~ Chapter seven~

         °Charlotte °

     "Hayley! Wake up!" Carolyn yelled startling me. I sprung up from the bed, claws and everything, on the alert for danger but only saw a panicking Carolyn.

"What's wrong?"I asked her half asleep.

"Charlotte is back," she said pacing around.

    What? Why is she here?

"We're leaving," I said walking over to my closet .

"Where are we going to go?" She asked looking at me panicked.

"We are going to find somewhere Carolyn with Lex and his coven..  anywhere but you are not going near her again,"

"But what if he doesn't want to come?"

"If he loves you, he will," I said throwing clothes and shoes in a suit case.

Carolyn followed suit and we are just about to leave when Whitney walked in the room.

"I'm coming with you," she said showing us our bags.

"Alec cheated..."she trailed off awkwardly.

"Let's go quickly," I said opening the window.

Carolyn jumped out first followed by Whitney and then me.

We ran in to the forest, mixing our scents with mud so that we don't get tracked easily.

Let's shift and use our phones to call lex and Soren.

Okay.

Who's Soren ? ( Whitney asked)

       We shifted back and Carolyn called Lex and he immediately picked up.

"Whipped!" I yelled in to the speaker.

"What's up flower?" Lex asked Carolyn.

"Can we come stay with you? ... I'll explain later," She said.

"Ok," lex said.

    Carolyn hang up and together we looked at Whitney.

"Lex is my mate and Soren, the hybrid king, is Hayley's real mate." Carolyn told her.

"Do you think that I'll meet my real mate too?" Whitney asked sadly.

"Yes, we do." Carolyn replied.

   I just smiled at them and walked up front .

"Soren was the guy that helped her in the basement? The one that looked like he wanted to rip everyone's head off?"

"Yeah, that's him, kind a like Hayley," Carolyn replied trying to whisper.

"Yo! Stop talking about my mate and I , especially my mate he's - "

    Suddenly, vampires surrounded us from every corner.

Whitney stood frozen in place looking at the guy in the middle beside the leader.

"Mate," they said.

   Well , we can't kill him.

   I figured that much Carolyn .

     "Attack!"the leader yelled.

Everyone pounced forward except for Whitney's mate who pulled her out of harm's way.

Suddenly a guy pulled Carolyn against him and held a silver blade at her throat.

"Why are you here mutts?" The leader spat.

"Let her blood sucker," I commanded him with a cold stare.

He hissed at me and I growled at him baring my teeth .

"Wait, she's half vampire, a hybrid...the queen!" A woman yelled looking closely at me.

"That's right," came Soren's husky velvet voice.

"Let her go," Lex commanded the man softly, glaring at the blade against Carolyn's neck.

"Charlotte said to kill her and watch the other one die," he informed us.

Charlotte! Of course, she will never give up until we're dead .

" If you don't let her go, I'll kill you," lex snapped baring his fangs threateningly at the man.

"Please, we have the same power as you you're majesty," the man snarled.

Your majesty? Lex is royalty ?

We finna be smacking royalty!

  Carolyn you have a silver blade at your neck how -

   Then I noticed the dagger in her hand and smirked.

"Listen here, let her go and keep your leg," I said taking two steps forward.

The man laughed and that's when my best friend plunged the dagger in to his left leg.

   Whitney's mate decided to go back with his clan and he dragged Whitney gently, along with him.

I found my mate guys!

We are very happy for you!

He literally told me he loves me with his eyes!

       Lex immediately ran over to Carolyn and checked to see if she has an injuries.

I ran up to Soren and jumped in his arms , wrapping my legs around his waist.

"Hey pumpkin, you're temperature is lower but not back to normal yet," Soren said kissing my temple.

"I know," I said rolling my eyes at him .

"Hey, let's go!" Carolyn yelled.

   As we walked , Soren's Jewel rubbed against my jewelry holder making me want to moan but I fought it back.

"Can I go on your back instead?" I asked then I felt it, " Oh, uh..... Nevermind."

   Damnnnn!

I want to moan so bad that I'm bitting my gum.

Control yourself Hayley, keep your sounds to your -

Soren groaned loudly. Looks like I'm not the only one who feels this way but at least I have a little self control.

   "Why do you think she's back now after all these years?" Carolyn asked me softly.

"Probably to make our lives even more miserable than she already has," I replied even lower.

"So why did Soren groan ?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"What are you and lex up to?" I asked avoiding her question.

"Oh , nothing... We justed made out a couple of times.." she trailed off sighing blissfully.

"Hmm.... So that's why you have that glint in your e - oh my gosh! He gave you a hickey ! It's hu... mmmmm!" She covered my mouth with her hand as I was about to yell out the good part.

"Shush," she said removing her hand from my mouth and gave me a stern look.

   "I say he'll mark by next Tuesday, " Soren whispered to me at dinner.

"No way , Wednesday," I whispered back.

"Winner gets two hundred dollars," he said.

I smirked and shake his right hand under the table so that they don't suspect anything.

"Be prepared to loose,"I whispered with a small smirk on my lips.

"We'll see who looses pumpkin," he said giving me a smirk of his own.

Oh it's on like SpongeBob's pants !

    What are you up to Hayley?

  Nothing, my dare best friend.

  She raised her eyebrows at me but said nothing.

   "I'm a boss!" I yelled walking out the bathroom the same time Soren walked in shirtless and sweaty.

      "Just finish working out?" I asked after clearing my throat.

"Yup, you just came out the shower," he pouted," Why didn't you wait for me?"

"Because you were busy," I shrugged walking over to his closet.

"Red or Gray ?" I asked holding up two panties in my hand.

"None," he replied smiling innocently at me.

Why did I even ask him in the first place?

I rolled my eyes and decided to wear the gray one.

I put on his red button up shirt.

"You look sexy in my clothes, however I'd prefer you out of them," he said in a deeper voice but I know it's not his wolf.

"Too bad because I love this shirt too much to part with it," I said walking over to the bed.

"Good night pumpkin," he said kissing my temple.

"Good night Sor. "

I finally thought of a Nick name for him! Yass!

"Seriously, go to sleep pumpkin," he said wrapping his hands around my waist and nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck.

I rolled my eyes before going to sleep with a small smile on my lips.
