Highly Secured

After few hours of travelling, they reached Sicily, Amara was awake the whole time as she couldn't let her guard down so she guided Joshua after they reached the main city and directed him to a place where her apartment was located.

This apartment was bought by Michael for Amara during her training, she rarely visits this place and lives with Michael in his bungalow but this apartment was for her personal use.

She was free to use it as her office or could come here whenever she wants her own personal space. 

Since, Dan, Vic, Jim and Carl worked with her on the mission they went to Vulcano island for, they were aware of this place as they met here once for one of the meetings. Without her explanation they understood why she must have brought them here.

She can't directly take Joshua to Michael's house. it is his secret location and people who they really trust are the only ones who are allowed there.

Joshua is someone they just met and it would be stupidity to bring him there and it was already a risk that she is compromising her own place but luckily, she doesn't have any of her stuff here, Michael gifted it to her but she felt more comfortable living at his home so she never officially shifted here, a few clothes of hers and the necessary furniture are the only things kept in this apartment.

The security around this place was very tight and only people from high society have houses here, therefore there was privacy and everyone minded their own business and were not nosy. Every floor had only one apartment so there were no immediate neighbors.

After they reached, Amara got down at the entrance and scanned her fingerprint at the fingerprint scanner and only then the gates opened and allowed them entry to the society. This place was highly secured and the security doesn't allow entry or exit to anyone without proper identification.

She had a word with security and told them she has guests. They knew she was not someone they could meddle with as no one who owns an apartment here are simple people so they allowed both the cars in and since the owner herself explained the situation they had no reason to not allow them.

Dan too was awake as he had a good sleep and after parking the cars at the designated spots, they all followed Amara to her place.

Joshua was not sure what was happening but he silently followed them with the backpack he packed few hours earlier in one hand.

Her apartment was on the third floor and the elevator was big enough to accommodate ten people so they all went upstairs together.

Again, at the apartment, after entering a four-digit pass-code and scanning her finger at the fingerprint scanner, Amara entered her house and everyone followed.

Joshua glanced around the four BHK house, the house was decorated in white, the walls were painted in white and the furniture too was all white, but it was pleasant to one's eyes and gave a soothing effect to this house. He immediately liked it.
