Beneficial Chances

Hana Young, a woman who had debuted as an actress thanks to Mr. Hiromi Takeuchi, was seen being familiar to another man at the front of a Spa and was caught by the loyal assistant, Mr. Reagan Flick.

'That conniving woman, I knew that she's only using Mr. Hiromi for something again.' Reagan thought.

"Ms. Young, why are you here at this spa? you know that this place isn't good enough for your beauty." The man flirted. Hana smiled, "If Mr. Levine finds that I am not suitable for this establishment, should he be able to provide a more suitable one?"

"Surely, dear. Only one request, you shall marry me."

Reagan's attention pinpointed at the man whom Hana was talking to whom he saw quite familiar that he had heard of his name before. 'Levine? that car, that voice...'

'Could it be Kim Levine? the owner of Golden Field Entertainment, Bliss Entertainment's rival company.'

If Hiromi had found out about this, he would be devastated. Reagan was in a pickle. He thought about it for a moment if Hiromi would have found out he would assuredly be depressed. Although, if he didn't know about this affair then she will continue to use him.

The only way for Reagan to take down Hana is to make Hiromi fall out of love. How was he going to do that?

"Darling, we've already discussed this. I cannot marry you until I have already risen to stardom!"

"If you want to ascend quickly, then leave Bliss Entertainment and sign in my industry to be my artist, I can't put my mind at ease if my dearest is under that Takeuchi's command."

'I won't leave Bliss Entertainment. it's my stepping stone after all if both are distinguished, Hiromi's industry is much beneficial compare to yours.' Hana thought.

Both have continued talking while Reagan watched. Moments later Kim Levine planted a kiss on Hana's cheek and had left in his car. Reagan couldn't bear the sight. He turned on the car and dashed back to Bliss Industry. As soon as the car was parked, he got off and went straight into Hiromi's office.

"Where's Hana?" Hiromi surprisingly asked, in his hands were paperwork. "Didn't I tell you to be with her for her needs?"

"President," he hesitated, "Ms. Hana..."

He wanted to tell, every detail of what happened that afternoon; He was in a stressful position, 'would the President would even believe my words?'

"Spill it."

After thinking it through, Reagan gave a smile towards Hiromi. "I would like to ask if I could have her schedule for her shootings and such."

"Her schedule? Her manager has it. Why would you need it?" Hiromi asked, curious with Reagan's request.

"I plan to know her schedule to determine when or when not to pick her up, her specific location and other information. I cannot keep asking you to locate her, so, I can check up on her anytime and everywhere. Plus, even if she is at her shoots, I can be here at work and then pick her up whenever she is free, that way I can assist you." Reagan explained.

With that said, Hiromi gave a no. "Truth to be told Ms. Young's manager asked to have a leave for today for personal reasons regarding her family. Hana insisted that I would allow her to give her that permission to go." Hiromi stated.

"And when did Ms. young asked for that?"

"2 days before our break up. I couldn't back down on my word. However, everything is fine again since Hana is back with me; It's like the break up never happened." Hiromi said happily, putting down a document on his desk. "So, the manager would be back in a few days. I planned to have a substitute manager for Ms. young, and then you came. Which is why I am going to let you abandon your job as my assistant for the meantime., Mr. Flick."

Reagan felt like good luck was on his side. He had formerly thought of sabotaging Hana's scenes by changing things without the President's consent. He knew that Hana was only after the President because of his power in the Entertainment Industry, and what better way to teach her a lesson is to ruin her acting career.

Yes, too diabolical. Reagan knew the consequences if he was to be exposed, but it was for the best. He couldn't stand women who deceive men for financial support or even authority. He felt that it was the only right thing to do to make the President truly happy.

With this opportunity, he could suppress Hana without having any problems in being suspicious. "How many days do I have exactly?"

"About five days. Are you up to the task, Mr. Flick?" Asked Hiromi, grabbing another document.

Reagan was about to give a nod although noticed the messed up paperwork, the empty coffee cup, and the President's desk disordered.

"Don't overwork President. Without me, you might not have these files organized. Are you sure the President would allow me to partake this task?"

"I'm sure. I trust you so much, Reagan." A warm smile appeared on the President's face. Reagan's heart skipped a beat, this warm smile, he wanted to protect it.

"All right, President. I shall start tomorrow."

"Good. Then you'll be needing the schedule," said Hiromi, handing over a clipboard with Hana's schedules. Holding it in his hands, he slightly trembles. He was anxious and had numerous ideas on how to deal with Hana and her plans.

"Here's the script for her scenes." Hiromi then hands a portfolio containing the copy of the script. Reagan took the folder and opened it, revealing the next scene for Hana. The first location was at a cafe in the city which was famous for their various brews of coffee. Her character was to meet the main male character where they would eat breakfast inside the cafe.

"Also, please keep an eye on Hana. The third location is what I am concerned about, It's located in a forest. It's a night scene, so you need to stay there and camp. night scene, so you need to stay there and camp. I'll come if I have the chance." said Hiromi, finishing the documents and piling them on the table. "Now, I need you to go and get Hana this time."

Reagan sighed, putting the portfolio and clipboard aside, he goes close to the President's desk and tidied it up for him. "President, At least start being clean and organized." Scolded Reagan, cleaning the table. Hiromi laughed, Reagan glared at the man. "What are you laughing about?"

"You care for me, do you?"

Reagan's face flushed the shade of red. "Stupid."

"Calling me stupid now? You're acting like a female..."

"President! I am serious. I care but not that much."

Reagan was about to pick up the documents when Hiromi stopped him, holding his hand. He got surprised, Hiromi's face was inches away from his'. His heart started to beat faster, staring back at the man.

"Reagan..."
