CHAPTER FOUR ||| ALMOST A MESS

What I was doing was totally against what the Moon Goddess asked me to do but I just wanted to be selfish a little bit, I didn't ask for too much...

I saw Craig open the gate and wondered where the security went, I drove inside the packhouse and packed the car... Craig came to stand at the driver's side waiting for me to come down. I did and I asked him why he was the one at the gate and he replied that he had sent the securities on a different assignment and besides...

"I'm waiting for you Alpha," he said...

"Okay... well what can I help you with? I asked him...

"Where have you been V?

He asked me with a very harsh tone, I looked at him and he said

" Dude am asking you as your best friend V and not your Beta."

"I went on a run Craig,"

"You went on a run with a car V, you have never done that V and besides I went on a run too and I didn't see you so where was your running spot cause I am pretty sure I scanned every part of our running locations and you weren't there V, so don't you dare lie to me, do you know how worried I was after we came back from seeing the High Priestess, you have just been so weird, I know it's about your Mate but can you at least be a reasonable Alpha and think of the safety of the pack first, if something was to happen to you all of us will be deadbolt.."

"I went to see Adrian" I blurted out.....

"Huh!! when you say Adrian, which Adrain do you mean,"

"Adrian my mate, Craig"

"You went to see Adrian, V you can't do that, you're not allowed to see him."

"Well I couldn't hold myself anymore I just wanted to talk to him, maybe probably get him to notice me and maybe we could be friends but I guess it was a bad idea.."

"I understand you V I do, I know I haven't met my mate yet and you may think I don't understand but I do, so how was it?

Craig asked me trying to read the expression on my face.

"It was... I dunno what to say, Craig, I feel like I should have just ignored the urge to see him and maybe I wouldn't be feeling more confused."

"Why are you feeling confused V?

Craig asked me,

" He is sleeping in the back seat of the car."

"You're joking,'

Craig said gaping his mouth and looking at my face, possibly trying to read my expressions to know if I was lying or not.

"I'm not joking Craig, he passed out inside the woods, so instead of taking him to his house I decided to bring him here."

"But that's isn't allowed Viviano, you're the Alpha but you've broken two rules just in one night."

Secondly, Humans aren't allowed to sleep in the packhouse unless they have been Marked and you are just bought an Unmarked human back to the packhouse.

I know he is your Mate but are you sure the rule will bend to your will, Alpha."

"I am not sure he is a normal human Craig," I told him,

"What do you mean by that?

Craig asked me,

"I will explain it better inside, help me take him inside the house before we get noticed here."

Craig told me as he opened the backseat door so I could carry Adrian, I picked Adrian up bridal style and took him inside the packhouse.

Craig was right, Humans not marked weren't allowed to sleep in the packhouse but this was my mate, Even though he was a human,

I still remember the events from earlier and I still don't understand what was happening, I took Adrian to my room and laid him on the bed just like I had desired, He held unto me unconsciously making my wolf who has been quiet to squirm excitedly and I took his hands and kept it down as I pulled the blanket over him and took a step back and looked at him lying in my bed where he belonged.....

This is what I had desired...Seeing what he will look like on my bed. The blue bedroom light reflected on his face and his lips outlined, it looked moist and full, I felt like his lips lured me deeper, gloomy and all I wanted was to kiss him so badly, and I did, I kissed him without thinking.

His lips tasted like raspberries soaked inside wine, it had a mint flavour and tasted a little bit spicy, I felt my dick twinge but I ignored it and I focused on savouring the delicious taste of Adrian's lips.

"You should not be doing this"

Adrian my mate was on my bed, on my pillow and his scent filled the room and I just couldn't control myself so I kissed him again ignoring the voice in my head Luna bless me I cried, the taste of your lips sent shivers down my spines...

"You should stop, Viviano"

I knew, if I had continued I won't have been able to stop myself so to my disappointment and my wolf's frustration I stopped kissing him.

I left the room and closed the door behind me to meet a curious eyed Craig standing outside the room with his hands folded on his chest...

"Why are you being so sneaky, Craig?

"You are the one being sneaky V, "

He held my hand and led me to the Bar Room, I took a seat while he went to the bar and took out a bottle of Glenfiddich and brought two whisky glasses and pour the drink for both of us, we both made a toast and the old me to start talking.

"Start talking about what Craig, there is nothing to talk about."

"Mr Viviano Cassano, please don't let me repeat my words"

Craig looked at me sternly,

"Hahaha hahaha, we both laughed out loud,

Calling out our full names was an inside joke we had and only used it when the other person starts getting annoyed...Fine and there I told him about everything that transpired between me and the old man and Adrian.

"So do you think Adrian is possessed or something.."

"I don't know what to think Craig, but I know it's only that old man that has answers to all my questions and I'll wait until I see him again and I had no idea when that will be." I thought as I heard a voice...

"Who are you people and what am I doing here by this time of the night."
