Dark green energy covers my hand and takes the shape of a scalpel, thanks to Nordic Runes I know hundreds of letters I could draw in the scrap metal, but deciding to do something simple, I start drawing on the metal the rune Thor.

But mid-drawing I lost control of my soul for a split second causing a small explosion that destroyed the scrap and ruined the work I had done.

'Fuck.' I nearly shouted because of the wasted material.

The mom shouted about the sudden explosion she had heard.

" Don't worry, I am watching a movie on my phone."

" Lower the volume a bit please." She asked me.

This time, with much more attention and precision, I slowly started drawing again.

After 30 minutes I finally finished drawing the rune, resulting in a notification.

Effect: 10% from all sources of damage will be nullified, and won't stack with runes with the same effect.

Activation will consume stamina.

Effect: When activated you can pull objects or people towards the holder of the rune, for example, arrows are more likely to hit the target, and max pulling force is equal to ( Willpower/10) Kg

Activation consumes large amounts of stamina

Weak Regeneration

Effect: When activated boosts all body regeneration by 10%

Consumes large amounts of mental strength.

I click on the weak protection one and then started doing the same process on my body.

It would have normally hurt like hell, you are literally using your soul to burn your flesh and create a complicated drawing infused with your own soul.

But you know what others don't have? Pain Resistance at level 99.

I now know what it feels like to get your flesh burnt by your soul, but I didn't react and was able to create three runes each with a different effect.

One is inside my palms, it being the polarity rune, the protection rune is near Fenrir's one and the regeneration one is on my left chest.

How am I going to hide? Soul Runes can't be seen by normal people, luckily.

It would be kind of hard to explain a tattoo in a society that connects tattoos to Yakuza.

A side effect of creating 5 runes in one sitting? I feel more tired than ever.

I crawl back towards my bed and just as my head touches the pillow I black out.

The mere thought made a smile appear on my face.

I started running towards the school even faster, not even noticing the small cracks I was leaving on the ground with each step due to the mere strength behind my steps and the current weight of my body.

After 10 minutes I arrived at my class, the class was completely empty to my surprise.

I checked the time only to realize that it was 7:10 am, so I have quite some time before class.

I sigh and sit on my desk taking out the Lovecraft book, a few pages left from my sweat reward.

And just in 1 minute I finally finished the book.

After evading the bullet I waited for the arrival of the rest of the class, which took around 30 minutes.

After everyone arrived before they could sit, someone from one of the speakers said that class 1-A had to head to the same area where the entrance exam was run for their first class.

We chatted along the way and by the time we had arrived the others started asking who our teacher would be.

" Coming through the door like a normal person." A masculine voice said from the entrance of the room.
