It’s not ridiculous, and it’s true
Once they reached Nicholas's home, she saw an old man standing near the entrance with a tense expression. The minute he saw them entering the gate, Butler Thomas came running towards them like a young lad.
"He sure runs like a kid even at this age," Dina commented after looking at his grey hair tossing from one side to another in the wind.
Before Nicholas could say anything, Thomas had already reached them. The minute he came near them, he started to lecture Nicholas that what he had done was wrong. He even ignored Dina altogether who was standing right next to Nicholas.
"Master, why did you run away from home again? You have just started to get better. What if you fall sick once again. Also, what would I be able to tell your aunt when she comes back home?" Butler Thomas asked him and checked Nicholas from head to toe for any injuries.
"You ran away from home? You are a runaway? Runaway… Runaway..." She started to chant in Nicholas's ears.
