Did my powers return again?
Adrian went near the glass wall and stared outside the busy road. The cars were zooming one after another with no intention to stop anywhere. He gazed at the road for some time and then said,
"I won't be able to come home for a few days. I am here at work and if you also come here then it would be difficult for us both as I will be mostly traveling to take care of my businesses that have spread across this city. Also, this city is not a very good place to live. Recently, there was a bomb blast nearby and it's too dangerous to stay here right now."
He conveniently omitted that he was the one responsible for that incident. Dina anyway didn't want to stay with him over there.
'Who is dying here to stay with you? Anyway, I am enjoying my life here with so many kind people around me… So, why would I want to come over there to take care of you and get myself hurt?' She thought with a fake smile on her lips.
