As the footsteps got closer, I growled telling them to stay away.

/"Honestly, this is such a pain./"

I heard a branch snap from behind me and I sighed.

Guess they're not leaving.

Might as well fight.

I stood up in a fighting stance ready to attack whoever came out while making sure to keep Lilian hidden behind me.

/"Woah Matteo calm down. It's me./"

I frowned and tilted my head as I watched Romeo emerge from the bushes.

I scoffed and still growled at him.

/"What the fuck are you doing here?/"

/"I was looking for her then I caught a whiff of your scent do I decided to check it out and turns out, I was right./"

He mind liked and I sighed.

/"Why are you hiding her by the way?/"

He tried to look over and I blocked his view.

/"Nothing./"

/"Tsk, what's wrong with you?/"

/"Get away. You've had enough time with her. Leave us alone now./"
