CHAPTER 18
Earth was lost for words. The way Preed handled the situation was way better than he had imagined. He looked at him.
"Are you alright?"
Preed smiled at him.
"I should be the one asking you that, are you sure you chose the right item?" He asks looking at the framed picture.
Earth looked at the picture sitting on his lap, this was taken during their first date, they had went to a park and had a picnic. In the picture, Earth had smudges of chocolate on his lips from the chocolate covered strawberries while Preed had leaves in his hair because it was windy.
He smiled.
"I'm sure.....I love you Preed"
"I love you too, so much"
He blinked his tears away, as the car drove past their apartment building he looked at Preed with confusion.
"Where are we going?"
"To meet my parents"
His anxiety came back again. Will things turn out just like when Preed met his parents? He hopes not. But Preed took the chance to meet them so why can't he do the same? He smiled.
"Okay, let's do it"

"I'll come pick you up at 5, will you be ready by then?" He asked.
"Yeah, you bought the suit so i don't have to go shopping"
Sirichai smiled at the response. He gave Gan a quick peck on the lips making the younger chuckle.
"I'll see you soon"
"Bye"
Once Sirichai drove off, he sighed.
"Finally, I've been holding in this fart since he came here" he says heading inside the house.
He sat down and scrolled through his timeline, everyone was talking about this gala, what was it for?
"Huh? Upper echelon people host gala for the blood donation program"
He found that endearing, he had thought it was just a gala for people to spend money on useless things like a restuarant opening or something.
"I guess I have to go....but first, i need me some pork"

"Mmh, wait wait"
He pulled away from his neck.
"What's wrong?"
Paitoon sighed.
"You have to go get ready and so do I"
"Okay....we still have time"
He sighed again.
"Just do me this favor, I'll see you when you come to pick me up, deal?"
Phichit frowned in disappointment.
"Okay, one last kiss?"
He chuckled and leaned back in, their lips connecting one more time, Phichit took advantage and pulled Paitoon by the hair making him gasp, he deepened the kiss, Paitoon felt like he was melting on the car seat. He pulled away breathing heavily.
"I'll see you tonight"
"I look forward to it"
He got out and waved goodbye as the car drove off. He sighed.
"What on earth am I going to wear to that gala"
He walked away from the house heading towards the small shopping center in his area.
"Paitoon?"
He paused and looked to his right, it was Gan. Paitoon felt awkward.
"Oh...P'Gan, hey"
Gan could see the discomfort in Paitoon's face. He feels bad for making him feel this way. He walked towards him.
"Paitoon....about the other day....I'm sorry"
He nodded.
"It's alright, these things happen right?"
"Mn....so where are you going? I can help"
"I have to buy a suit for this party I'm going to"
"Oho, i doubt you'll find anything interesting here, but let's go check just in case"
They walked to the shopping center side by side but Paitoon couldn't shake off the feeling that he was being watched.

The large gates opened and Earth could feel himself shrink into the car seat. The property here was big, he could see tall green trees standing proudly beside a vintage mansion, the building was beige with white accents on the windows, he also could see the many cars inside the garage.
"This is where you live?"
"My parents live here, i just live at my apartment but i do have a room here"
"Wow....this is, amazing"
The car engine cut off and Preed got out.
"You coming?"
"Yeah, yeah"
They walked to the front door. Earth's palms started to sweat and his heartbeat skyrocketing, he held Preed's hand.
"You'll be fine, trust me"
"I'm still nervous though"
They stopped in front of the large wooden door, Preed turned to his boyfriend, he gave him a deep kiss making Earth forget his worries.
The door opened and a woman gasped.
"Preed, what did I tell you about wearing black? You look like an undertaker"
Earth blinked in confusion, what language is this woman speaking? He looked at Preed who smiled.
"Mom can we head inside first"
The woman rolled her eyes walking away. Preed leaned on Earth's ear.
"My mother is korean and my father is Thai"
"Ohh"
Earth took in his surroundings, the house had a homey atmosphere around it, the air had a scent of cinnamon and apple, the walls had family portraits.
"Mom, this is someone i want you to meet" Preed says in korean.
Earth looked at Preed's mother, the woman was wearing a knee length dark blue dress, her hair in a ponytail and the wedding ring on her finger looked like a golf ball, it was that big.
"Is he the one who lives with you? Omo, he's so cute" she says smiling at Earth.
Earth smiled back and offered a wai which she returned warm heartedly.
"She likes you" Preed says making Earth blush.
"I'm glad, where is your father?"
"On a business trip, he usually comes once a week so i guess we missed the chance"
"Oh....well tell your mother that I'd like to spend the day with her then....so she doesn't feel lonely"
Preed was shocked hearing that, it made him love Earth even more. He told his mother and the woman was over the moon.
"Really? Maybe he can help me choose a dress for this gala I'm attending, i have a lot of options"
He chuckled. It seems his two favorite people will get along with no hiccups and seeing the smile on Earth's face is all he can ever want in this world.

"This one?" He asked. Paitoon shook his head.
"I don't like purple, who even wears a purple suit?"
Gan laughed before searching for another suit. The two were in a thrift store looking for a suitable suit for Paitoon. Gan smiled when he something caught his eye.
"Tadaa"
Paitoon frowned.
"That's a dress"
"I know but if we buy this dress and some black slacks i can make you a suit"
"Huh? You can sow?"
"There's a lot you don't know about me Nong, let's go pay for this"
After they paid, they went to Gan's home and all the time Paitoon would look around, the feeling of being watched making him feel unsafe.
