Dark side...and the merchant guild.....

next comes the merchant guild…

Which is located back of the adventure guild and you need to cross few streets to reach there, so it took a while to reach there during the travel a sudden notification popped out….

This title provides you with some basic information about this world, some status point is been added and additional info is been added to your appraisal.

While checking the notification we moved through a narrow street which can be said a shortcut for merchant guild, a sudden changeover as if I got transported to another world filled with darkness. Though it can be said as a shortcut, it has a dark and gloomy feel creeping all over the street.

The sight which is presented in my view justify that feeling. This street is filled with darkness as some lights flickering here and there. But I can notice several shops, they are not selling any weapons or groceries, every shop has few cages in a cube shape which emanates some sad and negative aura from it.

"Ma…...Max….!!!"

Seeing my reaction max replied "don't look through them, much..." with a long gap he 'sigh' and said, "this street is known as 'dark street'".

"' dark street'?" I asked with confusion.

"Yeah, this street is the other face of this city, can also be said as the negative face. This street is known for 'slave trading'". max said with a down face.

"What an entire street for trading slaves," I asked with a surprised tone.

"Mm... basically yes, even though slaves trading is legal in some areas inside this city they follow some procedure, but this street is out of them," max said

'Huff… What kind of procedure, a slave always a slave how this city is classifying them into two categories?'

While talking about the slaves and problems faced by them, we noticed a bright light far away that is the exit. While reaching the exit I noticed some cages which locks some race is been bounded with a slave collar and held captive inside.

"Max… you make compline about it right?" I asked max.

"Well… how to say…. Even I do make a complain it will do nothing" and he continued" the complaint is been handled by high officials, even they tried to stop them they can't because of the noble who support this area".

Even though I can do nothing for the slaves I hope there will be a good place in future…

Few cruel scenes after …. we move out of the street and finally reached the merchant guild.

The street merchant guild located is crowded with people who are busy with their shopping. Between various shops, there is a building standing study and it can be noticed even between these shops.

It's an average building and not as grand as adventure guild but it has a large shield embed with colourful crystals and it suspends near the entrance.

"it's beautiful isn't it!!" noticing my actions while seeing the guild max said.

Merchant guild is nothing special like adventure guild they have a reception area and a trading area.

Unlike adventure guild max know none in this guild, so we have no other choice to wait in line. It's not too big only three people standing before me, after a few minutes I reached the reception desk. The receptionist is a young lady in her 20, she had pointed ears, green hair and fair skin. She is an elf…

"Hello sir how can I help you…" she asked.

"Hello… I am robe and I am willing to enrol myself in your guide"

"How… Welcome to merchant guild I am Eva" ... "you need to fill this for…" before she passed the form max stopped, he is with me the whole time. With a casual tone, max said:

"He is an adventure guild member…"

"Hmmm… then can you pass me the card" Eva asked

I passed my card as proof, seeing my card she stood flabbergasted... after a while she said

"Sir this card is right but it's not showing any info about your element or class," she asked with confusion.

"Mam adventure guild decides to keep his information as a secrete so better not to ask about any more, it's for your good and I am a guard of this city and you can trust me," max said while showing his guard pass.

Seeing this she gave a confused look and respond "but… sir, we need some basic information about our member" thinking for a while she said "wait a minute I will be back" she said and moved toward the stairs.

After a few minutes, the lady returned with an old man in his 50's. he looks filthy rich but his face carries a polite look, you can see humbleness too.

"Hello… I am 'old mark' nice to meet you" he said and continued

"I the guild master of this merchant guild and I be informed that there is a problem regarding registration, so I came to resolve it. Can you show me your card?" mark said.

Then my card is been passed to him…

"How… there is no class, element and even it has 'seal of null ' quite a rare sight" seeing this he took a cuboid crystal and place it over my card.

His facial expression changed as if he found out the truth…...

"SOOO...so this is the reason they used the seal on you," he said while holding the card.

Seeing this I looked toward max, as he noticed me, he said.

"don't worry that a 'seal breaker' stone which breaks the seal for a while and it is been given to all the guild master for safety"

Hearing that I taught 'then why the fuc.. you placed a seal in there. Now my expression is been noticed by the guild master.

"don't worry your information are in safe hands," he said with a smile. then he said, "proceed with the registration Eva".

Seeing the guild master Eva nodded...
