Starbright was sitting in a chair next to Twilight's bed in the hospital room. He watched his friend with concern while his mind replayed all the events that had led to this point. He thought about how his small actions and decisions had started to make big changes in the story, and he wondered how he could make things right from now on.
Suddenly, the door to the room opened and five ponies entered. Starbright pretended not to know them as they introduced themselves.
"Hello, I'm Applejack," said a pony wearing a cowboy hat. "Thanks for coming to see Twilight. She's a good friend to all of us."
"Hi, I'm Rainbow Dash," said a pegasus with a multicolored mane. "Don't worry, Twilight is strong. She'll pull through."
"I'm Pinkie Pie!" exclaimed a pink earth pony, bouncing with joy despite the situation. "We'll do everything we can to make Twilight feel better."
"Hello, I'm Rarity," said an elegant unicorn with a perfectly styled mane. "Twilight is very dear to all of us. We're here to support her."
"I'm Fluttershy," said a yellow pegasus with a soft voice. "We're so grateful that you're here with her."
Starbright nodded, grateful for the presence of Twilight's friends. "Thank you all. She is very lucky to have friends like you."
Shortly after, the door opened again and two more ponies entered: Princesses Celestia and Luna. Princess Celestia looked distraught over what had happened, and Princess Luna seemed utterly devastated, staying away from the others, clearly feeling it was her fault.
Celestia approached Twilight's bed, tears in her eyes. "Twilight, I'm so sorry this happened. You did everything you could. I am so proud of you."
Twilight opened her eyes weakly and smiled. "Thank you, Princess Celestia. I'm glad everything turned out well."
Starbright observed Luna, who was standing in a corner of the room, away from the group, her head bowed. He decided to approach her.
"Princess Luna," Starbright said softly. "It wasn't your fault. Nightmare Moon was in control, not you."
Luna looked up, her eyes filled with tears. "But all this happened because of me. If it weren't for my transformation into Nightmare Moon, Twilight wouldn't be hurt."
"Everyone here knows it wasn't your fault," Starbright continued. "Nightmare Moon was an evil force that took control. Now you're here, with us, and that's what matters."
The other ponies, including Twilight, nodded in support. "We're here for you, Luna," said Applejack. "You're not alone."
"We're friends now," added Pinkie Pie. "And that means we're together in everything."
Luna began to cry, but this time with relief and gratitude. "Thank you, I really don't deserve such kindness."
"Yes, you do," said Twilight from her bed. "You're part of us now."
Starbright smiled, feeling warmth in his heart as he saw everyone supporting Luna. He decided to step out of the room for a moment to give them some privacy. As he walked down the hallway, he took out a scroll and quill he had with him and began to write a letter to his family.
**Dear Mom and Dad,**
**I want to let you know that I have decided to move to Ponyville. A lot of things have happened, and I feel my place is here now. Twilight needs my support, and I have found a new purpose in this town. I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you earlier, but I will keep you informed.**
**Love,**
**Starbright**
He quickly sent the letter and stepped out of the hospital to get some fresh air. As he walked through the streets of Ponyville, observing the picturesque town, he had only one thought in his mind: he liked Twilight. He felt a deep connection with her, something that had been growing since they met. He knew that now, more than ever, he had to be by her side.
With new determination, Starbright headed back to the hospital, ready to face any challenges and support his friends in whatever they needed. He knew he had made the right decision, and he was excited about what the future held for them in Ponyville.
