Chapter 157- Nolan – The Three Kings Part 1 (VOLUME 3)

**NOLAN'S POV**

I had been so immensely proud of Addie when I heard her standing up to King Holmes. She was brave, intelligent, and very well-spoken. She had made the man think too, because she had taken his ability to speak for several seconds.

I hadn't been all that thrilled to see the look that she had given to Hollis, but I knew that it was more of the trick that she and he had used to make people stop the rumor mill that was surrounding the school. She had wanted to make Hollis's father think that his son had females that he was interested in, and that were interested in him.

It was a good strategy, but it might cause problems in the future. What if King Holmes wanted to make Addie and Hollis form a political union? He might insist on them becoming engaged and marrying one day. And that was something that I would never allow to happen. Addie was mine, and no one was going to marry her other than me.
