I am Grim Reaper 1398762...?

When I open my eyes I was confused I know I died and feel the pain. So why I am feeling fine? I blinked twice and look at my surrounding and I was greeted to a sight of an office room? Yes an office the walls are violet the floor has a blood red carpet. There is a book shelves with some trinkets and other nicknacks of sorth on my left side and there was some of those flatscreen plasama smart tv I'm seeing on malls where I'm going to hang out and in front of me is black desk I have no idea what it's made of because I'm not really knowledgeable if you guys gets me?

On it was some paper work and the guy who was doing them, who I might add looks like he didn't have a wink of sleep for a years! Geez look at those eye bags of his! He can make Gaara run out for his money with those bags. Poor guy he looks really really tired and needs some sleep.

But behind him is what really gets my full attention! You wanna know why? Because behind the man is a window that it shows a galaxy! Millions of stars that so beautiful that I can't look away off of it like I'm in a trance that urging me to not look away! But thank fully the man behind the desk snapped me out of it.

"Welcome to the Purgatory where every newly arrival soul has been given a chance who has strong faith and/or who was a believer on heaven and hell, reincarnated, reincarnation, transmigration and many more etc etc. " He said tired and sounds like it was scripted for who knows how long this guy's saying the same words over and over again.

"Umm...Who are you exactly?" I asked because if this is a dream? I don't wanna wake up on this dream and come back.

"I am Grim Reaper 1398762 and yes I'm not the only grim reaper there's a lot of us and yes the gods are real they are just lazy this days, and because you mortals and your increasing population that the higher ups decided to make a system base on a Company business system. In example you are the client and I'm the employer who will be your adviser or such and you can call Mr. Grim, Reaper or both. Which ever you are comfortable with anyway." Mr. Grim explains that he sounds like he wants this thing to get over with. So feeling sorry for the guy I'll just gonna make this short so he can be done on those paperwork of his.

"Ok, so I'm here because I died and because I have a strong faith on believing in heaven, hell, reincarnation, or transmigration. So my question is what happens now?" I asked shortly and Mr. Grim answer me without take his eyes off of his paperwork.

"Yes, and to what will happens to you is simple. You will be judge by the higher up above me. Who's in charge whether you go heaven or hell if you don't want a second chance to live anymore. But if you choose to be reincarnated or transmigrated of whatever, you have to spin a roulette and will be talking what happens next." He said. After hearing this? Well guess what I choose.

"Ok I choose to live again please, so what is this me spin a roulette about?" I asked because when i watch the Overlord anime and have a sneak peek on an anime called Konosuba and Rising of the Shield Hero. I also read some fanfiction that the authors write an self insert, where an ordinary guy who is meeting some god(s) and give them some wishes for cheat just like Konosuba. But also can do whatever they want because they know what will happen on what world they end up to, trying to follow or cause an butterfly effect base on their actions.

But I don't care about those things all what matters to me is enjoy my second life and no one or thing will stop me! From doing what I want and if I meet a protagonists I will just avoid them and try not to get caught on the crossfire of events. Because they have this so-called plot armor that protects them from many dangerous events while I will be just a casualty? I don't think so!

"Ok you will spin a roulette with numbers 1 to 10 it will depend on how many wishes you get. And yes 10 is a limit and no you don't have a choice to this kind of things, because the higher ups done this before the system was made and they're get bored because of the 'clients' have a repeated wishes over and over again. So they thought why not put the wish granting into randomized and watch the 'clients' how they will adapt on what they're been given and that's how this whole process will happen to you too. Because the wishes will be random and there are a whole lot of powers and poweful items in the multiverse the higher ups decided that on the roulette your going to put you wishing balls was decided on base to what the powers and/or items on your memories actually." Mr. Grim explains to me and kinda make sense if the others wish for something the same I will to will be bored on repeating process. Then a roulette with numbers of 1 to 10 an arrow pointing on the numbers on the right of it appeared on the flatscreen tv.

But if this will be random I just hope I get something powerful because it has been long and I forgot what powers, items and whatnot I want when I was a kid and let me tell you it was alot and childish actually. I want to asked but...eh whatever I just hope it was better this way anyway, even I get Popeye' s power when you have to eat spinach to be strong or having Mask Rider Dragon Knight, Blade or Ooo drivers. I will take it let just hope I didn't get the side effects and the recent ones I saw on youtube, The Mask I also like it too he was an equal to Deadpool but with cartoon like powers and green face. Anyway I should better listem to Mr. Grim he's explaining is not finish yet.

"Don't worry this thing maybe computer genarated, but it will not be one of those computer generated on earth that may or may not be program to be always hit common and uncommon and sometimes rare slot roulettes. Anyways once you get how many wishes you got one of the wishing balls automatically will be use to which world are you going to. And yes the terms and conditions are the same as the what powers/items you will got, because the higher ups decided it was boring if the 'clients' wish for the world where there are having advantages because they know what will happen on the cannon." I just nod because it's actually make sense even if we're just the gods entertainment, but meh I going to have powers anyway so why do I care? The gods will get bored of me anyway once they find out I'm not worth it of their time and surely they found a new poor shods become their entertainment, right?

After Mr. Grim explains he gestures to me to press the button on the arm chair to start the spin of how many wishes I got. But the weirdest part is I don't know the chair had arms on it! Maybe it just appeared after the explanation, so I press the button and watch the roulette to spin. Watching it spinning after couple of minutes the roulette have finally slowing down, so the waiting has finally finish when the roulette has stop on the arrow.

What do you know I got 5 wishes that's not half bad right? Now I only need to worry about is the random wishes this will be a nerve rocking because if the wish granting system didn't change because of people who before me didn't wish for the same damn thing! I might get the powers and items I will want! But what can I do if I'm just at the wrong time huh.

"Five huh? That's an equal number, well that depends because one of them is automatically on the roulette of which world are you going to actually, that means you only have four wishes... Anyway you can now place the wishing balls on this roulettes one by one or at the same time your choice so good luck."
