It was fortunate that the both of us left the shopping mall after rush hour, since it would be quite troubling to stuff all the shopping bags into a bus cramped full of people. Thus, when I saw that there were only a few people seated on the bus, I gave a sigh of relief.

Leo and I took the seats located at the very back of the bus, next to the window. I placed some of the shopping bags on top of our feet and some on top of our laps. There was so much stuff that by the time we finished placing the bags on top of us, I could barely see Leo's face through the bags.
