Chapter Eighteen

Present Times

“Brrrrrrr” The alarm bell rang. “Eleven you can now go outside” An AI voice sounded over my head. The doors slid open and the sun blinded me. It been three months since I was betrayed, three months of prodding, three months of being treated as a test subject, three months of regaining my memories and wondering why he would betray me. Just the thought of him sent a sharp ache to my body. I'm trying to understand but I just can't, it hurts badly, I could hardly breathe, now hatred and anger filled my soul and he better pray I don't see him. I walked outside, taking shaking small steps, standing under the sun gave me an illusion of being free but I knew that it was only an illusion. I took a deep breath and walked around, seeing happy faces and their happy bubble but they did not know what was going on until they see it,the sharp terror, darkness this place has.

“Eleven” Jackson called out tapping me, bringing me out from my thoughts.
