Kross's voice grew louder upon hearing Zev's words. He even covered his mouth with one hand. Jody turned to him. To protect her, Zev does not allow her to join the pack, which is why she still has no mind connection with the pack, and her only hope is for Kross to relate to what is happening outside the cave.

"Oh, why? Did something happen?"

"You remember Liza's boyfriend?"

Jody frowned. "Her traitorous boyfriend? What the hell did he do?"

"He's Zev's spy!"

"W-what?"

"All this time, Zev was spying on Raul," Kross said. "Shit, right?"

"How did that happen?"

"Zev revealed to Rydel."

"Is that serious? Is Raul a spy? But why did he kill his girlfriend?"

Kross shrugged.
