Chapter 152- Alan Reason

She had heard that Visceria accepted a job offer from Aurora, which meant they would rarely have time to meet up again. Everyone was busy with their own lives.

Reina sighed, drinking more of her beer. "Should I just accept Aurora's offer?" she mumbled to herself.

Then a crisp voice reached her ears. "What's a beautiful lady like you doing alone here?" 

In front of her stood a handsome young man, his aura strangely captivating. She smiled and responded, "Just enjoying my drink. What else?"

Back at the lake.

Isolde's expression was solemn as she silently looked at the water. Both of them were sitting on a stone bench. Alan didn't know what to say. 

Her expression, filled with sadness, made his heart feel as if it were being stabbed by a knife. 

He wanted to ask her about it, but he was afraid she was still mad at him and that he might make her mood even worse.
