THE BONDED SIBLINGS

JESSICA

I heavled deeply as I wiped my blood off my mouth.

Who on earth were these people?How was this girl so strong?

I didn't have much strength left in my body to fight so I slowly backed away.

When I saw Roanna charge and head towards me , I turned around ran.

She'd almost caught me when an unknown presence had rushed passed me and attacked her.

The attack sent her far away but I bet it didn't do any damage to her.

As the figure turned around to face me, I laughed and cried as I saw that it was Grey.

"You got badly hurt?"I asked looking at his face

"It's just a bruise. Are you-"

Our moment was interrupted by a roaring sound of a white wolf. She was back again.

"Hey, should we bond?"Grey asked me.

I was taken aback for a while. it's been long we'd bonded.

By bonding, it means merging in our wolf forms and becoming one. The last time we'd bonded was when we were five.

I nodded my head. "Let's do it."

As Grey and I merged, Josty and Katherina got wrapped in their own fight.

They were both in their half forms. Katherina seemed to be a tough opponent to Josty.

Josty snarled as she charged towards Katherina but Katherina dodged her attack by climbing on a tree and using her leg to kick Josty bringing her crashing to the ground.

Katherina was about to finish Josty off in the ground when she was pushed suddenly by an unknown figure.

The figure twisted his neck as he looked around at all the chaos.

He'd been knock out for too long. Kenny concluded.

"You little weakling. You acted so tough as if you could actually defeat me. I'm barely lifting my hand, you know"Mark smirked as he approached me as I backed away slowly from him on the ground.

He'd beaten to me to a pulp therefore reminding me once more that I was stupid thinking I had a chance against him.

"You call this' fighting back?' "Mark laughed"I'm bored with you" he looked around and I saw him smile as his eyes landed on Alexis. "Your girlfriend might just be more fun"

"Don't you dare!" I impulsively stood up on my feet and charged towards him but he threw me off with one punch.

I whinced in pain as I coughed up blood. I struggled to get on my feet again but it was to no avail.

Alexis...that was all that was on my mind. I have to protect her.

But now I could barely get on my feet. I watched helplessly as Mark approached Alexis.

"Alexis!!" I screamed as my eyes widened as Mark got knock off by someone.

"I'm still here, remember"Brian said smiling.

I sighed in relief.

"Everybody , stop!!!"Kenny shouted making everywhere quiet and making everyone face him.

I shaked in fear as I saw Alexis I'm his grasp.

"Let go off me right,now!"Alexis struggled in his grip.

"Shut up while I'm still being nice!"He looked around and smiled as he saw that he had everyone's attention"Now that I have what I want,we can retreat"

"Hold on"I shouted getting up on my feet. I had to protect Alexis so I balled my fist as I spoke what I'd dreaded ever saying"You said you loved Alexis.Why do you want to hurt her?"

Kenny laughed"Hurt her?Me? I'm just proving that if she can't be with me then she can't be with anyone else. she was mine since the beginning so nothing is changing"He turned to face the people he'd brought along"Let's go back"

I looked at Alexis with worried eyes"You are going to be okay"

I watched helplessly as Kenny took her away along with his people as I clenched my fist.

I hated this. I hated not being able to protect the people who meant alot to me.

I clenched my fist so hard filled with rage but I was taken aback when I felt a soft hand covering mine.

It was Katherina's.

"She's going to be alright.You can put your trust in us"

I looked around me as I looked from one person to the other.

From Brian to Katherina to Jessica to Grey.

"I'm going to help around too but don't feel touched or anything. I'm just going to show that p***k who's boss and you are back to being my play thing"Grey spoke up unsettled by the romantic tension in the air.

"No one asked you"Jessica sneared.

"Hey, be grateful to your brother, huh? if I hadn't come earlier, you would have been dead"

"Me?"Jessica scoffed"Says the one who was beat up to a pulp"

"Hey, I'm dead"Grey grumbled suddenly remembering something." I'm late for detention. goodbye"

"As if. You are just trying to avoid me, right?"Jessica ran after her brother.

As the team suddenly started breaking up gradually, I stared back to where Alexis was once standing .

I was going to get her back. I swear it.
