GOING THE EXTRA MILE

ALEXIS

I grumbled as Kenny threw me down in a cellar.

"Doing this changes nothing, you know that too, right?"I huffed.

"No, it changes everything"

I looked at Kenny I'm confusion"What do you mean?"

"I mean...I'm going to find a way"

"What way!!!?"

"For us to be together!! You want that too, don't you?"

"Can you hear yourself?! Aiden is already my mate, there's nothing you can do!"

Kenny placed his hands on my shoulders"There is. Just wait here till the next full moon. I assure you everything is going to be fine.We'llbe together like we'd always wanted"

I slapped Kenny's hands away from my shoulders. I was utterly disgusted.

"I love Aiden. There's nothing you can do that will change how I feel. Why are you so hung up on a childhood crush that has no meaning?"

Kenny looked up at me with his eyes all darkened as he pushed me again the wall and strangled my neck.

"No meaning,you say?"He smirked"You loved him thinking he was me . You felt betrayed too when you found out that he wasn't me too, didn't you?"He tighter hso grip on my neck"Who are you to now say that it has no meaning?"

I couldn't breathe.I gasped for air under his hold but it was to no avail.

"Please...let me go"I wheezed.

Kenny threw me across the room"Stay here for three days till I settle everything out. If you wish to say or do anything that will annoy me again,I won't be so kind anymore"

He walked away from the cellar as I coughed out loud and my tears began to blur my vision.

I knew Kenny was strong since he as a beta but his strength was so uncanny.

I looked around the cellar for any escape route I could find.

I needed to leave here in three days because whatever Kenny was planning, I knew it was up to no good.

KENNY

I grunted out in frustration as I punched a wall.She just has to make me use my strength on her.

I walked out to where Mark,. Roanna, Josty, Jeffrey and Scott were seated.

"Thank you for your help today"

"Are you kidding me!?"Mark shouted angrily. "I got knocked out and so did Josty and what 'Thank you for your help today' ?"Mark pointed angrily at Kenny "Set me up with those people, now!"

"Hey, stop that. You've already done your part"

" 'Stop it?' "Mark laughed mockingly"Hey guys,this little punny thinks he can walk over us just because we lended him a helping hand. "Mark pushed Kenny with one finger"It's like you forget you begged me on your knees"

I smiled as I pushed Mark backwards"And it's like you forget that I'm higher than you"

Mark laughed"Hey, are you trying to tell a bad joke?Or is it finally getting to your head because an alpha like me managed to form a friendship with a beta like you"

I nodded my head. Right, he had the chance to be mistaken and call me a measly 'beta' so I had to correct him.

Afterall, that's what friends are for. " 'A beta like me?'"I grabbed Mark by the neck and pushed him against the wall as my eyes turned pitch black.

"What the hell"Mark stuttered taken aback by my strength.

The only species that had this kind of strength much more powerful than that of an alpha were already extinct so it doesn't-

Mark stopped in his thoughts as he saw my smirk"Do you get it now?"

I threw Mark across the room as he crashed onto a pile of wood.

I then turned to face Scott and Jeffrey who stared at me with fear in their eyes.

"Make sure she doesn't leave the cellar for three days unless you will end up like him."I said to them referring to Alexis who was in the cellar. " I have other personal things to deal with"

I strode out of their little hideout underground and went up to meet Draco.

Draco was the oldest alpha alive and the most deadliest because he made weapons capable of killing any specie.

He is also the only person who knows my true identity.

Being the deadliest wolf alive being able to create as much deadly weapon as possible to kill anyone, alot of people sort after him to kill him but then I'd saved him.

So we made a path. He lives his life for me and if he does otherwise, I get rid of him .

I was going to meet Draco to inquire of the weapon capable of killing Aiden.

The death of a mate was the only way I could have what's mine back.

"Is it ready yet?"I asked impatiently as I walked into Draco's abode.

Draco had his long hair tied up in a bun and wore on his googles. "I think I told you in three days, sir"

"Well try and hasten up, will you? I'm running out of patience"

Because I knew that in that three days, Aiden will try and do something stupid and Alexis would try and do something stupider.

"Okay"

I stared at the weapon Infront of him looking as shiny and magnificent"It's pretty"

"Isn't she?"Draco turned to face me as he saw the thrill of excitement in my eyes"I won't ask you what you want to use this weapon for but I hope it doesn't change the person you are"

"And what type of person do you think I am?"

"A good person"

I laughed out at his ridiculous conclusion"Don't worry about me and just do your thing."

"Okay"

After checking on the progress of the weapon, I went back to the cellar to meet Alexis.

She was sitting quietly on the floor. As I approached her, she slowly backed away from me .

"I'm sorry I hurt you earlier" I said but got no response from her. "You will be out in three days, I promise you"

"In three days..what's going to happen?"She asked softly.

"Nothing, I promise"

She looked up at me"How.. have you been?Since we last met when we were younger, how have you been living?"

I suppressed the urge to smile. I knew it was just a matter of time before she opens up to me and accepts the whole thing.

"Can I sit beside you?"I asked as she slowly nodded her head.

I sat beside her on the ground"It was hard. After that day we met, I found out something really shocking"It was the day I found out my true identity. "I couldn't face anyone. I had to live in hiding for a long time"

"What true identity?"

Even if I liked Alexis alot, I couldn't tell her.

That would only drive her away from me but then I suddenly decided to muster up courage.

"That I am-"Then I sensed it. That sharp sense of danger.

I impulsively reacted to it and pinned Alexis against the floor as I held her hand which held a cable wire.

"I told you not to try anything stupid, didn't i?"
