　　“What do you mean by you want to take your daughter back? Ruby is not going anywhere,” I told Syna, who rolled her eyes. I just got her back, and there's no way I was letting her—even if it meant finally speaking up to my scary mother-in-law.

　　“Look, Vexon. With full trust, I handed my daughter over to you and look, what you did. You almost killed her.”

　　I closed my eyes, inhaling a deep breath. Then I said, “Don’t twist the words like that. I did not almost kill her. And if you are talking about this killing thing, then I am sorry but I can put the same blame on you too.”
