Akaya was at a loss about what to do about Lucky. She cast a magic to transport him from the bathroom floor to the main room bed.
She ran back into the bathroom, grabbed one towel, soaked it, and returned to the bed, placing the wet towel on Lucky's right hand, which was blazing red and turquoise, indicating that it was the source of his anguish.
"Lucky, take it easy." Akaya begged as she sought to relieve his suffering by resting her palm on his brow; her veins turned crimson, indicating the anguish she was removing from him.
Akaya was startled when she heard a knock on the door.
"Should I go ahead and open the door?" She inquired of Lucky, who was writhing in anguish, but received no response.
"I'm worried, what if they caught up with us?" she said, on the other side as the knock sounded again. She inquired as she removed her palm from Lucky's throbbing forehead, as the agony had become intolerable.
