Episode 8: Fire & Magic + Shadow’s Training Ordeal

Scene 8.0: Ponyville, School Of Friendship [School Gardens], 12:00 PM, Day 3 Of 365

During launch time, Luster and Shadow's Friends are eating in the school garden under a large tree and what surprises Luster is that their lunches was made by Shadow and every creature's lunch is catered to their tastes, even the lunch Shadow made for her even though Shadow explicitly said to them that he wasn't going to spoil them with his cooking.

Luster:

(Curious)

I thought Shadow said that he wasn't going to spoil us like this.

Blaze:

(Laughing)

Shadow might not look it, but in reality he's pretty much a softy. He does have his harsh and stern demeanor, but there are time when he just caves. Please, don't tell him that. As soon as you point it out to him, he goes Full Tsundere.

Luster:

Yeah…Shadow does seem the Tsundere Type to me. So can I ask you all a very personal question?

Blaze:

That depends on the question. So ask away!

Luster:

What is your Tsundere Shadow Moments?

Blaze:

(Laughing)

Him trying to please our mom!

(Laughing)

Him admitting Old Novo is one of his Role Models, but not actually openly saying it.

Gatz:

Him trying to claim he lost any game we do because he was off, but in reality he lost on purpose in order to raise my morale.

Yavish:

Shadow giving gift to Yavish by saying he made gift at last moment, but really made it long ago.

Florid:

(Excited)

Shadow not wanting to sing, but he's really good. Then says he didn't like doing it.

Flurry:

(Laughing)

Being a really considerate friend, but claims that he's just acted without thinking.

Krystal:

(Warm Smile)

I rarely have seen him like act that, but my most Tsundere moment with him was him making fun of Ocellus, but he really respects her. He just don't know how to tell her.

Blaze:

How about you Luster? What's your Tsundere Moment with Shadow?

Luster:

Hmm…My Tsundere Moment…I'd say when he teleported me to Sweet Apple Acres and dropped me in fresh mud while I was asleep and brush me off without an apology.

Blaze:

That sound more like a Jerk Move than a Tsundere Moment to me.

Every Creature:

(Nodding)

Luster:

Well…I have only known him only for about 3 days, so I never had any experiences like that with him yet.

Blaze:

To be honest you are right. 3 Days isn't enough time for Shadow to act in that level of Tsundere towards you just yet. But let me tell you…when you see him being Tsundere to you, you might laugh because he doesn't look the type. But as we told you, he is the type.

Luster:

(Excited Smile)

Okay! Now I want to see him like that! I can't believe I am saying this but I am actually really jealous at all of you that you actually have seen a side of Shadow no creature have seen.

Blaze:

Actually every creature who is very close to Shadow have seen this side of him at some point in our time together. I know it sounds like it is every creature in Equestria have seen this side of him, but in reality it is a very exclusive group.

Luster:

Even so, I can't help to feel a little jealous about it.

As everyone laugh at Luster's remark, Blaze and Gatz notices a familiar Griffon roaming around the school. They all drop their lunch break and approaches this Griffon and it appears to be the Friendly Neighborhood Mail-Griffon CMC: Gabby holding a package the size of a small box that can hold a handful of large books.

Gabby:

(Smiling)

Blaze! Gatz! So good to see ya!

Gatz:

(Smiling)

Sister Gabby! It is good to see you this day!

Blaze:

Hey, Gabs! How's it going?

Gabby:

I am a little lost here since this school have gotten a lot bigger since I last came here. But now I have found you, maybe you can help me.

Gatz:

Have you seen Shadow anywhere?

Luster:

Gabby:

Yeah! I was surprised and excited when I found out today he's living here in Ponyville! He's the Coolest Colt I have ever met! But he's must be a Full Grown Stallion Now, huh? I want to see how much he has grown since I last saw him, I Can't Wait!

Blaze:

Blaze and every creature explains to Gabby that Shadow is quite possibly at the moment right now in Chaosville being taught Chaos Magic by Discord. After learning this, Gabby's face gets really pale.

(Scared, Shocked)

SHADOW IS IN CHAOSVILLE!?!?!?

Blaze, Gatz:

(Nervous Expression)

Ewe-Yup!

Gabby:

Oh, dear! Oh, my! I really don't want to go there…Especially that Parcel Post got lost there for 2 years. The horror stories he told me about the Cthulhu-Like monster he had encountered while being lost in there. But I need to give Shadow his package that came in.

I know what you will say, Luster. As Shadow would say: "There is NO WAY in TARTARUS I am going there in her place!" I love taking risks! I Love Being a Daredevil, but I will NEVER go to Chaosville, no matter what! Not after all of those horror stories I have heard. I rather spend the night at the Everfree Forest during the Cockatrice Migration like my cousin, Silverstream did. But I will not go to Chaosville! COUNT! ME!! OUT!!!

Actually I think it sound like a load of laughs to go there and an exciting adventure too, but...I already have loads on my plate since Miss Pinkie Pie asked me to do a lot of extra homework!

At that moment both Ocellus and Silverstream jump in as soon as they overheard the word Chaosville from Gabby and quickly grabs Gatz and Krystal's ears and take them away in order to stop them from going through their insane proposal of taking Shadow's Package to Chaosville. Every creature in this circle of friends ends up running away as soon as this happens with the exception of Luster and Blaze. Gabby falls in despair as she notices that she is abandoned.

Blaze:

(Annoyed, Defeated Sigh)

Hey…Gabby. How about I do the delivery for you instead?

Gabby:

(Surprised)

Blaze:

Unlike every creature else, My mom believes that if I am going to be the Next Dragon Lord, I need to have a Very Strong Resolve, Determination and Willpower to push through adversity and…Surviving Chaosville is the challenge of a lifetime. Especially if Shadow is involved. So I will…

Cthulhu? Yeah, right! You do realize that Cthulhu is an inter-dimensional evil deity that has the power to end all life in Equestria, right? If he is actually in this dimension, Princess Twilight would have to pull another All-Equestrian Alliance to actually stop it just like they did it to Tirek, Cozy Glow and Chrysalis. That's how Powerful Cthulhu is.

Blaze, Luster:

In this reality, Twilight and the Elements of Harmony managed to save us all with their Purity of Heart. But in Dusk Shroud's Reality, it was their Chaos Magic that saved their world. But...Dusk Shroud believed that he should be the only one in power and destroyed the creatures he once called friends, took away every creature else magic with the lie that it was for their own safety, erased those who stood up to him and those who refused him. He was a Tyrant that lied that he was doing all that evil in order to protect them, but in reality he was protecting his own self-imposed power. It was never about protection. Then one day, he attacked Equestria. He was defeated and banished to remain here in Equestria with no magic. No creature has seen him ever since. With nowhere to go, he is stuck here.

Luckily Shadow's Package was the last delivery I needed to do today. All I am left to do is deliver letters and you don't need to sign anything for that. Anyhoo! Toddles!

As Gabby flies away in a manner that makes her look like she is running away as Blaze notices Gabby's way of exiting, he is deeply disappointed in her while Luster not knowing how to tell such difference between flying away and flying away like she wanted to get the heck out of there, she dismissed her and started walking out of the school.

Blaze:

Hey! Luster! Where are you going!?

Luster:

What are you talking about? We are delivering Shadow's Package right now!

Blaze:

(Worried)

What about our classes!?

Luster:

That can wait! Besides...I'll tell you the truth. The Princess also forbade me to go to Chaosville too.

Blaze:

Blaze:

Actually...Yes, yes it is. Uncle Spike and Smolder grounded me and Shadow for that when we were kids. They managed to cover for us when our mom asked why they grounded us.

We got in a fight with a hydra while we were looking for alchemy ingredients for a gift for our mom. We omitted that...we needed a hydra fang in order to complete the alchemy recipe. We ended up coming clean to them after they caught us after we synthesized the item. They…saw us put the fang in the alchemy pot.

Luster:

Wow…that was not nice of you both.

Blaze:

True…but we really wanted to give mom a really special, one-of-a-kind gift and Shadow was the only creature in all of the Dragon Lands that could use Alchemy at the time.

Luster:

I see. You know…I think I would have done the same thing.

Blaze:

(Chuckles)

(Looking At Shadow's Package More Closely)

Luster:

That's...really creepy. I doubt Time Travel is involved and fortune telling is a scam...so how did they know?

Blaze:

Discord looks at Shadow with worry after he asked him on who Jewel, his Father's Assistant; but he saw this a mile away, so Discord takes a deep sigh and…

(Losing Control, Evil Glowing Eyes, Undergoing Chaos Transformation)

DON'T LIE TO ME!!! IF HE REALLY CARED AS YOU SAY HE WOULD HAVE NEVER ABANDONED US!!!

Discord gives out a heavy sigh in way that he at first glance was about to speak, but without warning Discord slashes Shadow's eyes in cold-blood blinding him in the process, grabs him by his nape and tosses him far into the deep void of Chaosville as Shadow with an unholy voice growls Discord's name. The shock of Discord's surprise attack managed to disrupt Shadow's Chaos transformation and stop it before it got out of control. Discord is worried and saddened on how things have taken a turn for the worst and hopes that Shadow puts his darkness away in order to master the ability to sense magic as he powers up his own magic to high levels so Shadow can easily sense him.

In the dark abyss of Discord's Chaosville which Shadow described it to be on a smaller scale than the Chaotic Void, the power and force of Discord's Dimension is a perfect similarity to the Chaotic Void. Shadow's Symbiote is trying to heal the injury Discord inflicted on him in order to restore his eyesight, but it is not working and Shadow have assumptions on why…

Shadow:

Curse Discord! That creep managed to blind me and my healing factor is not working! I bet that since he's close to that traitorous deadbeat, he must know my Chaos Magical Alignment too. Meaning that he can neutralize most of my magical perks and advantages with no effort.

(Annoyed Sigh, Calming Down)

No matter. I need to calm myself down and focus on my training. Focus into sensing magic. If Discord wants me to master this, I'm sure he's giving off high levels of magic for me to try and sense. All I have to do is seek it out. Darn! I underestimated his dimension. This feels like I'm really in the Chaotic Void. He toss me so hard, I lost my bearings and can't tell which way is north, south, east or even west. Well at least my eyes aren't in pain anymore so I don't need to complain that it hurts and waste time on it.

Thank you Discord for blinding me like you did since looking at someone…or something is in a way a form of acknowledgment. Also…as long as it stays as far away from me, I don't need to smell it since Chaos Cannibals have the most disgusting Bad Breath in all of existence, even more so if they are extremely hideous to look at. What does the ancients usually calls them? Malboro? Yeah…I am not going there today! I need to get with this training. Oh, boy…Chaos Training is not for the faint of heart…I hate my Chaotic Life In These Situations And I Don't Wish It Onto Anyone Whatsoever…

Scene 8.2: Everfree Forest [Entrance], 12:20 PM

As Blaze guides Luster to the entrance of the Everfree Forest, she starts to question him on where they are heading.

Luster:

Um…Blaze? I know this isn't the way towards Fluttershy's Cottage.

Blaze:

Of course it is! Why do you think it isn't?

Luster:

(Annoyed)

Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's because Fluttershy's Animal Sanctuary is on the other side of town!!

Blaze:

Oh! I see. That was her old cottage before she moved in with Discord. No creature told you that Discord's Chaosville is located somewhere around the center of the Everfree Forest.

Luster:

WHY THERE!?

Blaze:

Rumors are that he's a little too attached to Celestia and Luna's Old Castle known as "The Castle Of The Two Sisters". But…no creature knows the real reason why make the entrance to his Chaosville at that point in the forest. Anyways…be extra careful in here. The Everfree Forest isn't as perilous as it was in Princess Twilight's Youth, but it is still a dangerous place to go into if you aren't careful or prepared. Luckily being around Shadow I learned to be a Very Adept Dragon.

Luster:

(Offended)

I'll have you know I can also be pretty adept if I put my mind into it.

Blaze:

(Annoyed Sigh)

(Thinking)

Oh, Brother. How Prideful Some Mares Really Are! Why do I feel that this will be a pain somehow? I'm already having a bad feeling about this and we haven't even entered the forest yet!

As Luster and Blaze walk carefully through the Everfree Forest avoiding its dangers as soon as they spot it, sneaking around when they can't avoid it. As soon as they arrive at the main road to the castle, a group of magical creatures are having a territorial dispute; Luster is curious of this and tries to approach them only for Blaze to grab her and hide quickly in order to not be seen by these creatures.

Luster:

(Annoyed, Loud Voice)

Blaze! What Are You--?

Blaze:

(Whispering)

Shh! Are you daft!? Did you see what those creatures are!?

Luster:

(Noticing That The Creatures Are Timber Wolves, Scared, Whispering)

Holy...Thanks, Blaze! You saved me from getting killed! How did you know those were Timber Wolves from that far away?

Blaze:

The smell.

Luster:

I didn't get that from where we were.

Blaze:

I have a pretty good sense of smell. The Timber Wolves are lately in a territorial dispute with a new Breed of Timber Wolves…or I should say, an ancient version of Timber Wolves.

Luster:

Ancient?

Blaze:

Look.

At that moment, Luster notices that the Timber Wolves are fighting against Grey Colored Timber Wolves with red glowing eyes instead of the usual green and unlike the Common Timber Wolves that are growling ready to attack aggressively, the Grey Timber Wolves have a stern appearance, but are not aggressive looking, in a matter of fact they appear regal with flowers decorating some parts of their bodies most notably near their ears similar to what most girls wear them while around town.

Luster:

Those Grey Timber Wolves…What exactly do we know about them?

Blaze:

Not much. Unlike the Common Timber Wolves, the Grey Timber Wolves are quite tame that either ignore us or guide us to safety when we get lost. Also…unlike the horrible stench of the Common Timber Wolves, The Grey Timber Wolves smell quite nice. Maybe it's because their bodies have flowers growing on them. They started appearing all over Equestria after the Coronation of Princess Twilight.

Luster:

But the red eyes…

Blaze:

Are Scary? What is even more scary, Luster? Green Eyes with a demonic appearance all the time or Red Eyes that look normal when they are calm and not ready for a fight?

Luster:

(Surprised)

You mean that their eyes aren't usually--

Blaze:

Glowing? No. Unless you cross them like the Common Timber Wolves are doing. Anyways, we don't have time or the risk to get involve in this. We should take a detour to get to Shadow and avoid any and all Timber Wolves, including the Grey Ones too.

Luster:

(Disappointed Sigh)

You are right, but I am very curious about these Grey Timber Wolves now.

Blaze:

Save it for after today, please.

Luster:

Alright.

Upon nearing the Castle of the Two Sisters, they have to cross a moat since they had to take many detours in order to avoid the clashing of both Timber Wolves Clans. Since Blaze is a Teenage Dragon, he can fly across, but Luster have to jump on stepping stone to cross the moat, but just like the time like Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Spike and Apple Jack went looking for Fluttershy at Froggy Bottom Bogg, Luster inadvertently caught the attention of a hydra and started attacking her in order to eat her. Seeing Luster in danger, Blaze places the Package on a safe place and went to help her. Both Blaze and Luster helped each other by combining their fire and magic to fend the Hydra off and they managed to keep up against the Hydra. Blaze notices Luster's level of Magic and Control as the fight goes on which inspires Blaze to not hold back any longer and intensifies his fire attacks and with their combined power, manage to scare off the Hydra.

Blaze:

(Excited, Laughing)

That Was Awesome!!! It's been so long since I could go as all out as I did just now! It felt like I was fighting alongside other dragons and I am willing to go as far as to say I felt I was fighting with Shadow here!

Luster:

(Excited, Laughing)

This is the second time I had a fight that intense when I got here. And I agree! This Felt Great!

Blaze:

So Slipstream got you into trouble, Huh?

Luster:

Yeah! But I promised not to tattle on her.

Blaze:

No worries! She also made me Pinkie-Promise not to speak of what she has put me through either. Even if we suffered the same situations, we can't break the Pinkie-Promise. What's worse, Pinkie can actually sense when some creatures actually breaks a Pinkie-Promise, so please don't do it. I'm scared of her when she's on the warpath when it happens.

Luster:

Yeah…the Princess warned me about that. Hey! Where's the package!?

Blaze:

Don't worry!

(Points At The Package On High Ground)

It's safe. Plus it's not that big of a box. But…

Luster:

What?

Blaze:

The size and weight of that package…why am I feeling a sense of Déjà Vu while I hold it?

Luster:

I don't get it.

Blaze:

Don't worry about it. It might be my imagination. Anyways…let's go get this to Shadow.

Luster:

Yeah! Let's!

Scene 8.3: Chaosville [???], 1:36 PM

Blaze flies to the package, grabs it and returns his trip with Luster to get this package to Shadow as for Shadow himself is still in deep meditation trying to zero in Discord's Magic, but as hard as he tries he can't sense him. Having a Chaos Cannibal making disturbing sounds of wanting to eat him if he accidentally acknowledge it isn't helping in his concentration.

Shadow:

(Frustrated, Thinking)

Crud…Crud…Crud…Why can't I do this!? I lost my sight! I am being scouted by a Cannibal if I let guard down, he will gulp me in one go! And what's worst I am alone in what I thought was a weaker version of the my training grounds, but in reality it's on par with it. And thanks to my power being sealed like it is, this feels even worst than the Chaotic Void. And only the chosen are allowed to migrate to the Chaotic Void, but anyone can get in here and be fine! Well…more like "Possibly" Survive if this type of Cannibal exists here. This must be a Reactionary Type Cannibal. The type that only attacks other creatures that reacts to it the moment they see it. Since I am making sure I am not reacting to him, it won't do anything to me.

(Hears Female Voice)

Huh? Who…? That voice…it…it can't…

Scene 8.4: Castle Of The Two Sisters [Near Chaosville Entrance], 1:53 PM

Just outside the entrance of Chaosville which is located inside the castle in one of the rooms, Blaze and Luster ready themselves to enter the rift into the dimension, but they both hesitate for a while since all of the horror stories they have heard about Chaosville…

Blaze:

Well…what are you waiting for? Go in!

Luster:

(Annoyed)

Aren't you supposed to be a very Chivalrous Dragon like Spike? Be a man and you go in first!

Blaze:

(Annoyed)

As a Chivalrous Dragon I believe in the term of "Ladies First"! So don't stop me at being a Chivalrous Dragon and you go first!

Luster:

I don't want special treatment! I want a traditional equal treatment and in a situation like that, it is traditional for men to go first!

Blaze:

As a Chivalrous Dragon, I believe my ideas of Chivalry fall into the traditional spectrum, so if I say it is traditional for men allowing women to go first, then You go first, Luster!

Luster:

(Annoyed Sigh)

STOP!!! Fine! How about this? We both go in at the same time.

Blaze:

Okay. Deal. We go in on 3? Or after 3?

Luster:

Blaze:

Don't step on my toes, Luster.

Luster:

Fine. Let's just get this over with.

Blaze:

Blaze, Luster:

1…2…2 and a half…2 and ¾…2 and 9/10…3!!!

And on 3 they both jumped in just as a team should and when they entered, Blaze managed to keep his bearings because of his wings and notices that in order to safely navigate Chaosville, you need to be able to be able to be aerodynamic, which Luster isn't and she is spiraling out of control that Blaze catches her.

Blaze:

(Laughing)

You okay, Twinkle-Toes?

Luster:

(Annoyed)

How do you--?

Blaze:

Wings. No wonder Fluttershy has no trouble in being here. She can easily fly around.

Luster:

I can do so too, but instead of wings, I coat myself in a magical field and fly around, but my magic isn't as great as an Alicorn or as Starlight. So I can't rely on it too much and I can only using sparingly.

Blaze:

Well…if we encounter a Cthulhu-Like monster, we are in trouble if you can't use it to get away.

Luster:

And leave you behind?

Blaze:

A Chivalrous Creature rather take the brunt of the attack and save my friends than to run with my tail between my legs and getting my friends hurt or worse.

Luster:

Okay…but if I can help, I will help whether you like it or not!

(Annoyed, Sarcastic Attitude)

Gee, Thanks "Big Brother"…

Blaze laughs as he flies where he might encounter Shadow and for a long time, they got lost and were flying with no sense of direction on where they are going. While they were traveling around Chaosville, they have seen bizarre things like a flower watering a rock and the rock has its mouth opened upward and slurps the droplets. They see a forest wildfire freezing the forest and an iceberg boiling water around it. Weird-Looking featherless birds flying upside down, upwards waterfall, inverted colors on certain famous works of arts, talking frogs drinking tea, a Dullahan playing soccer with its own head, a mute opera singer singing…every weird thing that can never happen in the world was actually happening in Chaosville.

Luster:

(Weirded Out, Annoyed)

I am officially weirded out for today! The things we have seen-- SWEET TWILIGHT GET ME OUT OF THIS ASYLUM!!!

Blaze:

(Weirded Out, Nervous Laughter)

So this is what Shadow lived through in the Chaotic Void…now I actually feel even more sorry for him and now I get why he's so darn edgy all of the time. Even I'd be as edgy as him if I had to live in a place like this for a very long time!

Luster:

That's It! Once We Find Shadow, We Are Getting Him Out Of Here!

Blaze:

(Sigh)

If we manage to find him that is. I literally lost track on how long we have been here. It feels like literal years.

Luster:

Yeah…somehow it really feels like that in the literal sense. How much time have we been here anyways!?

Blaze:

Calm down, Luster. Do you need a Sneakers?

Luster:

(Annoyed Glare)

(Defeated Sigh)

Luster:

Blaze?

At that moment, Blaze spots Shadow but what caught him off guard is what is next to Shadow; Luster looks at what Blaze is looking and sees Shadow and she was about to call on him, but then she notices the Chaos Cannibal near Shadow. Fearing for his life, Blaze and Luster calls for him as it shocks Shadow as he recognize their voices and by their sound, he knows that the Chaos Cannibals will go after them and just he predicted, the Chaos Cannibal charges them. Blaze and Luster are having a hard time since Blaze is holding Luster and there is no solid ground to put Luster down and try to run away; and since they are protecting each other, neither Blaze nor Luster are capable to deal any real damage on the Beast. Shadow, unable to see and unable to sense them, Shadow is distraught beyond belief and infuriated that he can't help them due to his temporary handicap. Discord sees this and decides to intervene until he is stopped by a Pegasus wearing a long dark coat; even though Discord can't see his face, as soon as he heard this Mystery Pony's Voice, it all came together with not a second less.

??? (Male Voice):

I wouldn't do that if I were you, Old Friend.

Discord:

(Surprised, Annoyed)

Jack!? Is that you? If it is, then all of this is your doing!

Jack(?):

(Chuckles)

My doing? Oh, no, my friend. All of this is just a happy coincidence. I wasn't expecting Young Blaze and Young Luster to seek out Shadow this day. The Chaos Cannibal however…it was far too predictable that even a newborn would have seen it coming.

Discord:

(Furious)

Let me through! Those kids won't survive that beast!

Jack(?):

If you get involve, Shadow will never attain the ability to sense those around him. He might not look it, but he is close to attaining it…and it seem he is getting a little outside help.

Discord:

Outside help? From who?

Jack(?):

At first…I thought it was his mother, Stardust Memory. But upon closer observation…it is someone else. Unfortunately…he is getting help from someone that should still be alive.

Discord:

What do you--?

Shadow's frustration is getting worse and worse as he desperately tries to either see or sense the situation in order to save both Blaze and Luster from the Chaos Cannibal, but then suddenly and out of nowhere, Shadow once again hears that familiar female voice that have been calming him down and thanks to this mysterious voice, Shadow calms down easily and his senses are sharpened and somehow, this familiar voice is teaching him to understand the ability he is trying to attain. The voice, that sounds like murmurs, Shadow still managed to understand them and somehow, Shadow manages to sense Blaze, Luster and the Chaos Cannibal's Magical Auras faintly and just like when he uses his eyes to see Magical Aura and sees different colors, when he senses Magical Aura, Shadow can also sense their emotions: Blaze's resolve, Luster's Worries and The Chaos Cannibal's Hunger. Shadow shifts his Unicorn Magic, changes it to his Pegasus Magic and starts fighting against the Chaos Cannibal and protect his friends. With his freedom of movement, the fight now feels even, but Shadow feels that he isn't doing any damage to this monster, he believes he need to do something much more powerful. But as he focus more on his new ability, he notices that the Chaos Cannibal has a weakness: certain areas of its body lack magical density, making these areas soft spots and susceptible to high damage from powerful attacks. Shadow takes advantage of this and use high speed attacks to deal damage to this area by launching himself like a torpedo and once he deals such damage, he kicks the Cannibal to launch himself away from it and try again. Shadow continues this until the Chaos Cannibal had no choice, but to run away.

Discord:

(Surprised)

I don't believe this!

Jack(?):

Well done, Shadow. Grow strong…keep getting stronger…until you are ready to join me at our rightful place in this New Yet Flawed World Of Ours…

At that moment, Jack(?) disappears into the ether in a shroud of black flames leaving Discord worried with what he said in that final sentence. After recovering Shadow, Blaze and Luster and bringing them to his cottage, Discord tries to make a joke to break the ice, but is interrupted by Luster before he gets a word in edgewise.

Luster:

(Furious)

DISCORD!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO SHADOW!?!?!?

Blaze:

(Forgiving Expression)

Now, Now, Luster. I get the feeling he didn't know this was going to happen…

(Annoyed Glare At Discord)

Right, Discord?

Discord:

Jeez! You are just like your parents, Blaze. You give me the benefit of the doubt like your father does, but you also question me just like your mother. You are Both the Good Cop/Bad Cop Pair in One Dragon. But to answer your question: No! I didn't expect this to happen. Shadow getting tangled with Cthulhu, yeah that I knew was going to happen.

Shadow, Blaze, Luster:

(Furious)

THAT WASN'T CTHULHU!!!

Discord:

I'm kidding! By the way…why are you here?

Luster:

We brought a Package for Shadow from the Postal Office.

Discord:

No one from the Postal Office would come here since Parcel Post started defaming me.

Blaze:

It's not defamation if it's completely true, ya know.

Discord:

Shadow, Blaze, Luster:

Discord:

Oh, Poo!

Luster:

(Worried)

Shadow:

Since Discord sealed them away, only he can fix it.

Luster:

(Furious)

FIX HIS SIGHT NOW, DISCORD!!!

Discord:

(Surprised, Sees Twilight In Luster, Proud Smile)

(Snaps Fingers)

Shadow:

(Opens Eyes, Slight Photophobia)

Arr…It's a little too bright. But that's what happens when you keep your eyes close for too long and are placed a blind seal on top of it.

Blaze:

You can handle opening your package?

Shadow:

I'm alright. Who sent it?

Luster:

We don't know.

Shadow:

What do you mean?

Luster:

This package have been in transit and around the World for years. It has been in transit for so long that the point of origin is not in the record anymore and there's no return address either.

Shadow:

Years, you say? I wonder…

Shadow carefully opens the package and inside of it, what Shadow sees breaks his heart in ways that Blaze is the only one that notices it. Luster and Discord only sees Shadow's reaction as surprised or quite possibly slightly shocked upon seeing the item inside, not knowing what he is truly feeling.

Luster:

That looks very familiar…it looks exactly like the music boxes you make, Shadow. But it looks a little…off. Like it's more metallic than--

Blaze:

We'll leave you alone for this, Shadow. Luster. Discord. Let's go.

Luster:

But--

Blaze:

Trust me…this is a very personal matter for Shadow and we have no right to be here.

Discord:

(Understanding Blaze's Remarks)

If that's true then we should take our leave. C'mon, Luster. We are intruding here.

Luster looks at Shadow with worry and finally notices a slight sadness in his eyes. Not saying a word, Luster, Blaze and Discord takes their leave. Once Shadow is left alone in the room, he opens the Music Box and sees a Beautiful Motherly Mare caring for 2 ponies: one of them is Shadow as a Colt and the other one is a Green Emerald Pegasus Filly and as the music plays, Shadow is distraught realizing why everything that happened on that day. The faint voice that Shadow have been hearing all day since Discord started his training was none other than the filly in this music box.

Shadow:

(Saddened)

Emma…I'm…I'm…I am hoping…we can meet again…and when that day comes…I promise…I will…No…we will go back in being in being a family again. To share both the good and the bad times…we have experienced while we parted ways. I…

(Crying)

…I'm hoping that…you are still…still around…I don't think…I can't bear it if…if I lost you too…Please…be well…my competitive adopted sister.
