Let's go home

Shawn didn't expect such words to come from his boss. Right now he acted like he knew Lixi the whole of their lives. The information the PI sent were dug in from several sources and were not the kind to be found anyhow. No wonder he was a professional investigator. It had dirt on each of the Wang. Especially Mrs Wang. Lijun knew Lixi was being hurt and hit by the family members but he wanted her to say it out clearly but she had disappointed him and lied.

Lijun didn't expect he could speak like that, give an explanation that he wasn't required to. Even though they were strangers he felt this was unfair, why hit a child, cause she is not yours?

Lijun almost felt sorry for this girl because of her skin color which she didn't choose for herself, she was treated unfairly, like she was nothing.

"Lixi doesn't want anything from this family so she decided to buy her own things I guess her phone being stolen triggered her defense and she had to go get it"

Lijun nodded his head in 'understanding'. "If I may ask what caused all this I mean there had to be a reason for her to start buying her own stuff, right?"

This questions Lijun was asking got Mr Wang sweating, ever since his wife died, he never got a chance to be with his daughter.

Lixi who, this whole time was sitting quietly answered." I don't want to speak about it, and you're even asking the wrong person" she said as she stood up and ran outside.

Lijun looked towards her direction. As a doting and caring fiance it would paint a bad picture to leave her by herself. He internally rolled his eyes as he got up to follow her

"What are you doing here!" whispered yelled Lixi. Lijun ran his hands through his hair as he approached her. Lixi moved back. They were in the garden. "What are you doing?"

"Me, nothing am not doing anything" said Lijun still approaching her. Lixi who was not happy with how things were going got angrier cause he was not saying anything but just approaching her. "Am here to take you home darling" said Lijun and approached her before she could retaliate and push him away, he quickly grabbed her by her waist which he had come to like touching cause it was small and nicely fitted into his arms.

"Ssh, darling stop resisting, we're being watched" Lijun whispered into her ears. She was ready to let out all the insults that she had been holding in ever since he came to their house. She never had any intimate contact with any man since she was born but this guy was violating all her unnamed rules to wait till.....

Lijun suddenly hugged her, making her body go stiff.

"It's okay now, am here, no one is going to hurt you again okay darling" Lijun said in a voice loud enough for those two to hear. Lixi had no choice but to nod. She never expected the first man to hug her would be a person who just confessed that he was her fiance.

The words to anyone near would look sincere but the truth behind the words was only known to the recipient and the one who said it.

Lisa who was watching with her mother from a distance matched out angrily inside the house.

"Mother I told you this people are real..... It's just hard to believe something like this could happen to me..... Mother.....my love life is gone" cried Lisa as she quickly went to her room.

"They're gone now." said Lixi who was getting not so comfortable with the hug.

"Am serious Lixi, we have to go" Lijun said when he let her go. "Why do you keep bothering me, or do you see yourself as some superhero who can just come and budge into my life, huh, I already told you Mr Jiang, am not going to get involved in the little drama you created. Deal with your problem yourself."

"I think your talking without thinking Miss Wang got you to this point of me coming here" Lijun said returning to his usual self. He shook his head in disbelief.... He had been trying to correct his mistakes by helping her, but it seemed not to touch this girl. "It's your choice if you want to come with me or stay here, where you are not treated right."

Lijun said and returned back to the house.

Lixi felt the tears which were stinging her eyes but she didn't let them fall. She didn't want to stay in this house even for a minute, but she also didn't want to go with a stranger. Lixi quietly sniffed, she didn't want to seem ungrateful to Lijun he availed himself and brought himself to her, although there was something in it for him, he still did this much.

"Mr Jiang please sit down and have some tea" informed Mrs Wang once she saw Lijun and Shawn arriving from the garden. "No thank you we are in a hurry" said Shawn as they matched outside.

Lijun didn't take a second look at her as he moved but before he could go outside... "Lijun wait!" Lijun who already had his shades on turned back and with a bored look looked at Lixi. His eyes travelled down to see she had carried two suitcases.

"Let's go home" she said a smile on her face.
