Uncertain future

[DR. BANNER POV]

He had finally finished closing Jennifer's wounds, but she had lost a lot of blood and didn't seem to be out of danger. The safest thing would be to take her to a hospital, but given the distance from her, that was out of the question.

[THIRD PERSON POV]

Bruce was thinking of what to do while Aegon checked on Jennifer's condition when Aegon felt a group of people approaching in her direction. "I think they already found us Dr. They come from the north and east."

Once the two of them were alone in the room, Bruce was the first to speak. "Couldn't you have done that portal thing from the start? You could have taken us to a hospital."

"Bruce you're safe. And Aegon, you're here too, that makes me happy." Aegon walked over, took her hand, then kissed it. At first, she was embarrassed but then she ended up responding to the kiss. When they separated, Jennifer saw how Bruce looked at her with wide eyes, she didn't know what to say to him. "Your cousin already knows about our relationship."

"He thought it was a prank on the boy." Bruce looked at Aegon. "I think I owe you an apology for not believing you earlier."

"Forget it, it's not important. I'll leave you guys alone to talk a bit before Dr. Banner leaves."

"Just call me Bruce."

Jennifer was confused. "Where?"

While watching the news he heard Jennifer call him "Aegon." When he turned around he saw her walking next to Bruce who seemed a bit worried seeing the quick recovery he had made.

"You look better. Do you feel any pain?" he asked seeing that she was walking as if something was not quite right. It was something almost imperceptible but not for someone like him.

"No, it's just that I feel a bit strange, Bruce has told me everything, his condition may have happened to me."

Sensing that he was beginning to freak out, Bruce tried to comfort her. "It's still too early to conclude, let's be optimistic."

"Take care of both of you," Bruce said goodbye as he left through the Gorge.

When they were alone, Aegon hugged Jennifer and she began to cry. "Hey, trust him a little more."
