Danger Zone

Had he dreamed it? Was that even possible? Did he dream something that important?

Keith shook his head, dismissing his thoughts in order to concentrate on more pressing matters. Like what he was going to eat for breakfast. He groaned, remembering how hungry he was despite having slept most of the day.

He'd slept in late again, apparently. He hadn't seen any of the other men in the hallways during the night. He wondered whether they had noticed his absence or if they were still too worried about Lance to care if someone had slipped past unnoticed. Either way, he figured that it didn't matter.

He' d probably missed breakfast anyways, since he doubted that he'd have been awake for it anyway. He might as well just wait for everyone to awaken, and then decide whether he would eat first or later. It was only half past dawn now, after all. Perhaps he wouldn't be missed in time.

Or perhaps they would send someone to find him.
