Anna and [Martial Spirit]

"Alright, how many will you sell?" Ask the clerk. 

Gabriel without saying anything took out a small bag that contained the monster cores and then put it into the desk. 

"I have received your monster cores but it will take me a little bit counting and separating the cores, so you can wait a little while I do that." Said the Clerk while taking the bag and taking it with him to the back. 

"Ok, I can wait." Said Gabriel while he left the desk and started to watch all the things that this place had. 

Because the Dark Zone deals with any material may it be illegal or not, they have a variety of merchandise, from armor to weapons, from skills books to potions. 

Gabriel watched everything that they have here, and he didn't have to wait long before the clerk came back. 

This time he brought an extra bag with him, where he put all the money from his transaction. 

"Here's your money." The clerk gave the bag to Gabriel. 

"You had a total of 12 F rank cores, 7 rank E, 2 Rank D making you a total of 7.6 million." Added the clerk while Gabriel started to count his money. 

"Good everything is here." After saying this Gabriel and neither the clerk said anything after this. 

Gabriel left this place while the clerk went back to his original post. After coming out of this store, the next target would be to buy some clothes that aren't worn down and that actually looks like this era. 

After having a change in clothing, the second thing Gabriel did was look for all the parks he could find near this area. 

Why did Gabriel do this? Because on one of these parks was his next target. 

After looking for 4 parks in total he finally found his target, a girl who was training at the park. 

This person here was Anna, a normal girl at the beginning of the novel but then turned to become one of the most powerful characters in the series. 

She is a hard working type of girl, someone who will persevere no matter what and the reason for that was because when she was little, she was saved by one of the hunters and after that incident she wanted to become a hunter to also save people in need. 

That's why ever since that day she's been training on everything possible, the only down size is that not matter how much she work nothing would change until she finally met the protagonist after returning from the future and that's when he helps her turn into a Hunter after arduous amount of time of hunting for the monster who could give him the item called Catalyst. 

A crystal red item that had the probability of 36% of awakening a normal person into a hunter. 

The reason why Gabriel chose her as his next target was because he always liked this character and because in the novel it was always depicted how talented she was when it came to Martial Arts. 

And he wanted to try and see what skill she awakened after using his [Magic Seed] on her. 

Having arrived at the place, Gabriel didn't go too fast into talking to her but waited for a chance where he could help. 

Gabriel saw how she trained into her swordsmanship, for outside people it may be seen as an artistic performance but for Gabriel was a waste of time for her and her sword. 

Although his skill [Swordsmanship Lv 5] wasn't that high it was high enough to actually identify all her shortcomings she had when dealing with a sword.

Gabriel then saw how she finally decided to take a short break and at that moment he found the best opportunity to introduce himself. 

"The way you handle the sword it's supposed to be that way you're wasting your talent away like that." Said Gabriel to Anna while getting near her. 

"Who are you? And what do you mean I'm wasting my talent away?" Said Anna warily after seeing a stranger getting near her. 

"My name's Gabriel and I am a Hunter." Said Gabriel while getting even closer to her. 

"And what I mean by you wasting your talent is that you are not correctly using the sword, making too many unnecessary movements making it useless." Gabriel then grabbed her wooden sword that she had on the floor and took a stance. 

"This should be the way you should be moving." Said Gabriel without adding anything extra to the conversation. 

After taking a short breath Gabriel started to dance with his sword, every movement he made had a certain beauty to it and every slash and swing were all from the root. 

Seeing this, Anna was captivated. This was close to the level she was looking to achieve but no matter what she did she could improve or advance. 

But with this she saw hope. After a while Gabriel stopped swinging his sword and then turned to Anna. 

"How's that?" Said Gabriel while looking straight to Anna's eyes. 

Without a second thought, Anna immediately kneels down in front of Gabriel. 

"Master, please take me as your disciple." Said Anna without lifting her head up. 

"Stand up, this was my plan all along." Said Gabriel while grabbing Anna from her arms and lifting her up. 

"Thank you, Master." Said Anna with a smile. 

"So when are we going to train? What are you going to teach me?" Said Anna while looking straight towards Gabriel's eyes. 

Gabriel couldn't help but sigh, this was the other part of her. Someone who is a little impatient. 

"Wait, before that I need you to eat something before we can even think of training." Gabriel then turns his hand and a Mana Seed form inside his palm. 

"What's this?" Ask Anna. 

"This is what potentially will help you awaken, the only thing you need to do is eat it." Said Gabriel while making himself sound sly. 

Anna without even thinking about grabbing the Mana Seed and then eating it straight up. The moment that Anna ate the Mana Seed, she started to shine with a blue light.

After a while the light suddenly disappeared and Anna opened her eyes. 

Opening her eyes, Anna had an undisguised show of joy. 

"I'm finally an Awaken." Said Anna while jumping up and down. 

"Status." Thought Gabriel in his mind to see the new changes that this brought him.
