"Might I have permission to speak, Lady Farseer?" Harland said, once Batinkog had translated Tiller's words into Yarmdon.

"You may," Penelope said.

"Ask the Lady, what is exactly her desired outcome in all this?" Harland asked.

The question was translated, to quite a heavy frown from Lady Tiller. She folded her hands in her lap, and almost looked off to the side so she didn't have to look at the ridiculous question asker head on. "I would think that to be obvious – I wish to win this battle."
